Just a guy who likes stories.

Why am I here?

After finishing the mass effect trilogy, I decided that while I didn't hate the endings (except for synthesis), they left a lot open, even with the extended cut. I figure that this is intentional, if somewhat poorly executed. In a series based on player choices, why shouldn't one be able to make their own epilogue? I figured this would be the best place to find them, and found quite a few that I liked. Many of them are still in progress, so I made an account to more easily keep track of them and provide feedback.

What am I writing?

I am working on a post-control ending story, Soul of the Machine. Without spoiling anything, it will involve old enemies and Shepard struggling to stay human and sane. (Though he will NOT be indoctrinated on any level.) I have experience writing fiction, but this is the first thing I've written using a setting or characters that are not my own, and the first one to include a romantic relationship, so any advice you have would be appreciated.
