anotamous chapter 18 . 10/8/2019 I really enjoyed this story, shame that it is dead. |
Ebonslayer chapter 18 . 12/25/2016 This is a masterpiece if I ever saw one. So many of the scenes are extremely well written, some made me tear up because of the deep shit I was reading. Throughout the whole story I could feel for Tali, chapter 13 (or was it 14? Can't remember) brought a huge smile to my face... then the moment was killed completely and the sadness was back. Poor Tali :( As unlikely as that is I hope you pull this story out of the grave sometime, something this good cannot be put down with a teaser chapter. |
kid1450 chapter 14 . 3/20/2014 seriously far cry? Xen fits right in XD |
TailSpinner chapter 1 . 2/4/2014 Looks like I have a new story to read... unbelievable, great work right here. |
TheWerdna chapter 3 . 1/26/2014 Over all this was another good chapter, especially the more character driven scenes that make up the bulk of the chapter. Tali's flashback scene to her mother's death was particularly heartwrenching, and defiantly gave me a case of the feels. Besides that, dammit Tali, stop avoiding Shepard. You know full well he won't be angry, and already has forgiven you accidentally stabbing you. |
TheWerdna chapter 2 . 1/25/2014 Another solid chapter here, with the dialogue here being as a whole very well put together. Everyone manages keeps their own unique 'voice', never once sounding out of character/ If I were to say one thing that could use a bit of work, it would be in how often the point of view swaps back and forward between Shepard's and Tali's and Miranda's. As it is now, its a tag jarring; interrupting the flow a bit each time. It would have probably been better if you consolidated it a bit, so that there is only two or three points where the POV has to change. Besides that though, I cannot find no other glaring issues. I enjoyed the chapter very much. Good work, and now onto the next one! |
TheWerdna chapter 1 . 1/23/2014 Well, I had to reread though Finding a Way, since it'd been quite a long time since I last read it, but now I am ready to review :D Right off the bat, I have to say you have done an excellent job capturing the writting style of FaW, making the transition as smooth as one could hope for a story picking up where another writer left off. Overall I'm interested to see where this goes, as this storyline already was shaping up to be a very interesting take on ME2. |
Hero of the Multiverse chapter 12 . 1/11/2014 Wow. Shadow Broker's going all out, huh? Also, loved the Red vs Blue reference. One of the best ones I've read yet! |
craig mills chapter 18 . 9/27/2013 Great story |
Lursmani chapter 2 . 9/5/2013 Before I get to the review part, two notes: 1. My review of ch. 1 was the "I liek it" review. Sorry for that :) This one will be much better. 2. This story is amazing. It's so well written that I could imagine every single moment. I'm sure the future chapters will be like this too. Now for the review. First thing I noticed was the 12 hour trip to the Citadel. I think that's too long, but doesn't really have any meaning for the story. What I like about this chapter, and the story overall, is the depth of the characters. Feels like absolutely every thought that runs through the minds of the characters is written, and nothing has been missed. Also, this story makes characters very emotional, through actions, thoughts or words. I just need to imagine Tali curled up on the bed to know what she is thinking about, thanks to the previous chapter. Thoughts and actions blend perfectly. I see the canon characters have slightly changed their personalities. Nice touch. Makes them feel more alive, more different from each other. Giving secondary characters more personality is also very nice, that's what I'm trying to do, but it's difficult. There's also quite a lot of unexpected moments. Leng showing up to speak to Miranda was one of them. Miranda agreeing to him is also unexpected, but not that much. I know she's a b****. Overall, great chapter. Looking forward to reading the next one. |
Lursmani chapter 1 . 9/4/2013 This story went right into my heart for several reasons: 1. The realistic descriptions of feelings, they make the story very enjoyable to read. 2. Gave me more insight on Haestrom mission, which I always wanted. 3. This is by far the best story I've read about Tali. 4. My special love for Tali And there is the part where she blames herself... Great chapter. If there was anything wrong with it, all the good parts covered it. |
TakingAWalk chapter 1 . 9/1/2013 Jesus. Wow. I have no clue why you don't have a thousand reviews by now. I've only read the first chapter and am already highly impressed with your writing style. It's succinct yet poetic, and edited very well. And although I haven't gotten a true taste of how you write your characters, I got a real sense of "Tali" while reading this. Her internal dialogue, her actions, all of it. It felt organic and natural and *real*. Definitely following this. Fantastic job, sir. |
titan616 chapter 18 . 8/17/2013 Good story, your doing a fine job with Tali and Kasumi's friendship, and I expect Miranda's loyalty mission will be very interesting. |
Joryn282 chapter 5 . 8/13/2013 Nice little piece of endearment here. Also well done on the part between Tali and Shepard. At first I wasn't sure what to think about switching between points of view like that, but I was able to follow it quite well and didn't have a problem understanding who was talking. Some interesting additions of Khelish in there as well. I wonder if anyone will ever go through the trouble of creating an entire language for them. Anyway, well done. I look forward to reading more. |
Joryn282 chapter 4 . 8/13/2013 Poor Tali. She's having a rough time in this one. Very dramatic. You give her a lot more emotion, and a lot more anger. I only saw a couple of instances of oops. One part you referred to the Observer as the Overseer. Other than that, good job. I look forward to reading more. |
