..Any chance of getting a couple ECHOs for the new DLC?

Also, imagine how awesome it would be if an actual animated series (or live-action, whatever) was made based on this, with the events of the ECHO happening on-screen only to be cut, changed, rewound, forwarded or even glitched every time someone comments on Gaige's narration?

Now that was an enjoyable read! I'll admit I didn't get a lot of the references because I never played any of the DLCs, but it was still fun to follow along. I wonder which DLC you'll do next.

Lol Gaige is such a precious summer child...er...teen! I love how she just absolutely goes batshit fangirl mode over pirates in general! And the constant debate/arguments over nautical terms is hilarious (especially since I'm a navy guy). Looks like Captain Blade wasn't such a bad person, but as for Scarlett herself...guess I just need to keep reading to see Gaige's prediction on her betraying the crew is correct.

Damn, the poor people of Oasis. They all died of thirst despite a huge underground river system being right under their noses.

P.s. Since Zer0 is pretty much a ninja, I guess you can say any Zer0 player is reenacting the "pirates vs ninjas" battle.

If my memories are correct, this is near the end of the main plot. Since this is less than halfway through the story, I'm guessing you'll do the DLC stuff after? Can't wait to see Handsome Jack get his ass kicked.

The past few chapters have been decidedly somber, especially with Bloodwing and Roland's deaths. You did a great job showing how hard Gaige is taking all of this. Fuck Handsome Jack.

Wow, this has been quite the thrill ride so far. Normally I'm not a fan of fics that retell canon, but the ECHO log format works really well with putting fresh perspectives on the game's events.

P.s. Is "secret chef Zer0" canon by any chance?

Pretty good start to the story (and looks like it's written before the Krieg DLC but whatever). Kudos especially for mentioning how Gaige would feel about killing a human being for the first (or second depending on if Marcy counts). All things considered, she's a really smart teenage school with nowhere as much experience in battle and bloodshed as the others.

To paraphrase Stan Lee: "You keep writing them, we'll keep reading them."

Give Gaige the Fibber that you get from the quest with Mal (if it has the ricochet barrel on), combined with her close enough ability and anarchy it destroys and you don't even need to properly aim at your target. I make it a game to bounce bullets off the ceiling or walls behind what I need to kill, it also helps a lot against flying enemies XD
