I read this every now and then and the whole piece impresses me so much. The organic shape of it brings a full sense of completion when it's finished. It flowed very well and is very well written. I like your Tali in this story. Very good work.

Very well done! I like the perspective of the Tali/Shepard reunion being from someone other than the two of them, and Yani'Loras comes off as very much devout in his beliefs

yet at the same time harboring the proper amount of self-examination and skepticism someone in his position should have.

I'm also pleased with the way you wrote Tali; she's skeptical of the entire system of belief, but wants to be humble. She seeks the elder's advice not out of some deeply religious motivation, but because she's experienced something that's shaken her skepticism about the whole thing. A very interesting premise.

Also, I was a big fan of your Author's Note at the beginning, clearly detailing the thought and effort you put into really getting inside the characters' heads and understanding who they are. This is especially critical to do when you introduce an original character like Yani'Loras, since the reader needs very much to believe this person *could* exist, even if they don't in canon.

Excellent work, you're an impressive writer and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

This is really good! A much better look at Quarian and specifically Tali's spirituality than the games showed us! Will you be following up on this because this is excellent stuff!
