About Me: My Username actually comes from a song by Matthew West. If you haven't heard it, go and check it out. His music has really been an inspiration for a lot of my writing. I've been a member for almost three years now, and started writing HTTYD FF. I was a bit hesitant to post my story, mostly because I wasn't sure how readers would react to it. Once I started getting some positive feedback though, I couldn't resist continuing. Now I'm onto my third year, and have finished several stories. I'm currently working on two stories, one of which is sadly on hold until I can get past my writer's block. The other is the sequel to the Paradigm, and will likely be my main focus for the next few months.

Also, I have a tendency to write HiccupxOC stories. If people aren't fond of that, then please don't feel offended. Honestly, I feel as if AstridxHiccup was forced in the movie; it also seems like it's way overused in Fanfiction. (Not to mention, there's well over thousands of Hiccstrid stories on this site that readers can enjoy)

NEWS: Updates are a bit on the slow-side for now, and I apologize for that. I am currently working on the next chapter for She Lit a Fire, and I do want to work on the next chapter for Thunder. It's just a matter of figuring out what to post from there, and hopefully that won't take too long.

Thunder (Current Progress: ON HOLD)

Name: Alex McKain Hendrickson

Age: 21

Birthday: August 19

Appearance: She is about 5' and 2'', with brown eyes and reddish brown hair that she keeps shoulder-length. Her skin is naturally pale, with a scar over her right shoulder and stomach.

Personality: Alex is very outspoken around those who feel inferior towards her. She isn't afraid to speak her mind, especially to those who think she isn't much to look at. Once she trusts someone, and considers them a friend, she will become very protective of them, to the point of giving her own life if it is necessary.

Abilities: Currently, her abilities are unknown. But, there are subtle signs of scales running up and down her arms when she gets very angry. On top of it, she can bond with many dragons within the archipelago.

Name: Snowfire

Species: White Terror

Appearance: Large, lithe body with huge feathery wings, along with an elegant swan-shaped neck, a whip-like tail that ends in a scythe-shaped fin. Her underside and the underside of her wings are a light, icy blue, along with her eyes.

Personality: Not very trusting towards humans, especially those who intend to cause physical harm to her Rider, she is very loyal, to the point where she would protect her Rider with her life. Along with that, she is also extremely proud of her appearance. On top of it, she has an unusual sense of humor, which is often seen throughout the series. White Terrors are known to bond with only one human for life.

Abilities: She has the power to breathe fire, and ice. On top of that, she also has the ability to alter the temperature around her, which comes in handy during the cold winter months. Snowfire was born mute (fun fact), but she does have means of communicating when she wishes to. She has an ability that allows her to communicate mentally with those around her, and can choose who she wishes to share her thoughts with. Usually, this would be with someone she trusts, such as her Rider or the people her Rider is close to.

She Lit A Fire (Current Progress: In Progress; Updates every Sunday)

Name: Aniu

Age: 16

Appearance: She has naturally tanned skin, long brown hair that grows down to her shoulder. Her hair is usually tangled and all over the place due to living with the dragons, giving her an almost wild appearance. She is also covered in scars from when the people of her village tormented her, along with a few burn marks from living with the dragons.

Personality: There's more to her than meets the eye. Despite her obvious fear of humans, Aniu is very protective of those she cares about. Cybele has become her best friend/sister over the years, and she would do anything to keep her safe. She is extremely timid and nervous around humans, especially ones she doesn't know.

Skills: Aniu has become a master archer over the years of practice she spent with the dragons. Not only is she capable of hitting the bull's eye of her target without even looking, but, she can hit it while flying on the back of a dragon. Her mastery over archer is something that she uses to her advantage while living off the land. She has also learned how to speak Dragonese after living with the dragons for so many years. The only downside to her knowledge of their language is distinguishing the differences between Norse and Dragonese.

Fun Facts: Aniu is actually sort of based off of San from Princess Mononoke. That was one of my favorite Studio Ghibli films, right next to Castle in the Sky and Spirited Away :)
