I have read way too many httyd fanfictions and have never really left any reviews, bad phrasing, and poor vocabulary and grammar incoming.

I started reading your story back when you only had around 25 chapters, finished it and I loved it. I lost my passion for HTTYD and didn’t think more of this story back then (apart from the fact I never unfollowed this story so my mail is filled with fanfiction updates lol)

Well now I am back, and I just want to say I absolutely love this story and where it is heading at the moment. I despise how most stories go way too fast with the relationship between Hiccup and Toothless, and gives them overpowered abilites etc.. Your story is an amazing example of not rushing anything. You just let it build up in a natural pace, nothing feels forced or rushed (for me at least lmao). I started off hating how you made Toothless so god damn protective and impulsive over Hiccup, but in the end you write it in a way which makes it understandable why he is like this - and of course that almost every dragon are this protective..

I had some moments where I just couldn’t continue reading and had to take some minutes to think before continuing because something bad happened or Hiccup/Toothless did something mind bogglingly stupid which in the end made sense and progressed the story. After all, I - the reader get all the perspectives and facepalms when anyone does anything stupid.

I think it’s amazing how you havent lost your passion for these books yet and I wish you luck on finishing it. Hopefully you can publish it some day, a hardcover version of this fanfiction would be incredible ngl.
This will probably be the only ‘lenghty’ review you’ll get from me, started reading 4 days ago and finished it fifteen minutes ago. Felt like I had to show my appreciation.

For the first time since getting slobbered, Hiccup took his eyes away from the dragon and looked up. The cove wasn't yet getting any direct sunlight, but the colour of the sky was turning from black to lighter blue. He would still have time to sneak back into the village and get to the ring in time. - i love your writing style! i can feel the slime see the sunshine the way the sky shifts. idk its just nice! thans for sharing.

Short chapter this time, but good. I feel like this whole situation is a thin wooden plank over a raging hot fire. It won't be long before it burns through and everyone falls in, I'm afraid. At least the dragons all seem willing to help... But Stormfly, I don't think I like your attitude. :P Anyway, I can't wait to see what happens next. Keep up the good work! :-D

Who will be the casualty? not to mention gathering the army to counter whatever in the Hunter's arsenal.

Who knew Minden was so good at pep talks? Anyway, nice writing. I do, however, find it mildly annoying that we're kind of left hanging in regards to Shortclaw. I mean, she lands with Ivar, then... might as well have disappeared from Midgard entirely, for all we hear of her for the rest of the chapter. It just seems to me that she should have been given a little more "screen time", y'know? But, that aside, this was quite a good chapter. I feel like Hiccup might be in trouble... I guess I'll just have to wait for the next (or the next /after/ the next, depending on whether or not you shift focus to Fjoll) chapter to find out. Keep up the good work! :-D
