It is good that hiccup tried to show toothless how to read. Also hiccup does a good job of being patient with toothless and he makes it clear that he doesn't expect toothless to learn very quickly how to read. Also the second part of this chapter is really funny with helena Cammie and Ozzie pulling the prank with the sock and after the bully thuggory says toothless cursed hiccup it is good that hiccup ensures Helena knows the truth about his foot and tail fin.

We see at the beginning that Selena is in love with toothless but doesn't think she and toothless can be mates. And toothless also is hesitant to be mates with Selena. When hiccup and toothless go to check on urchin we see that hiccup teases toothless about his feelings for Selena and then when they talk about it further hiccup alleviates toothless concerns so he goes to ask Selena. It is good that Selena accepts toothless as a mate and that everyone is happy and even skylancer and nocte accept it. And when hiccup toothless and Selena go to visit Selena's mother she gives toothless and Selena her blessing but makes it clear what will happen if toothless hurts Selena. And finally Selena gives birth to a kit who they name ebony after toothless's mother.

We see in this chapter that hiccup and toothless have to deal with the aftermath. Also it is good that hiccup and toothless go to visit beast to find out why he wants hiccup and toothless to be his masters. But unfortunately beast accidentally sends memories to hiccup about his past. We see that eret is using a new ship that will have enough room. It is good that hiccup convinces toothless that beast didn't mean to send hiccup the memories and hiccup assures bossal that beast is not a threat. Also it is good that beast apologizes to hiccup and toothless and agrees to submit to both of them as alphas and that gobber removes the shackles. Hiccup made a good decision to have a ice wall around Berk. It is good that even though there are challenges at the end beast saves hiccup from the sea serpant and the pack accepts him.

It is good that hiccup Astrid the core riders and Alvin agree that they will try to negotiate first. When the letters are sent out to the generals and it is good that 3 of them are curious so they decide to come to Berk and hiccup and Astrid do a good job of disproving adulfr's claims about hiccup. It is good that when the battle begins beast comes along and stops the battle though unfortunately the hunters who realized adulfr was wrong were killed. But at the end adulfr is defeated and even gunhild turns against adulfr.

It is good that the bewilderbeast remembers hiccup and toothless and is lonely. Also it is good that hiccup and adulfr agree on the terms of the duel. Also eret is right about releasing the prisoners and fortunately hiccup realizes it. Also when the duel actually happens it is good that even though it is a challenge hiccup wins in the end.

It is good that eret introduces hiccup and Astrid to his new crew mates and that hiccup fills them in on the war with Drago where hiccup defeated a bewilderbeast and the defeat of the queen. Then hiccup and Astrid give them a tour of Berk and aksel gets a ride on toothless. It is good that hiccup and Astrid inform eret about the coming up duel and that hiccup asks the prisoners about why they joined adulfr. The dragons are justified In killing the hunter that tortured hiccup and toothless. Also it is good that eret agrees to spar with hiccup to help him prepare, that eret assures the other prisoners they will not be killed as well. Also adulfr receives hiccups offer and it is ready to give his reply.

It is good that hiccup realizes that dagur is right that he cant give in to revenge and that the other night furies inform hiccup that they moved to a new nest that they are keeping secret. Also while hiccup is practicing for his duel with adulfr it is good that shadow and dagur are introduced to each other. Also when the hunters attack at the end Berk and their allies are victorious. We see that the hunters are desperate so they try to use changewing eggs and grimora but that is stopped.

It is good that hiccup and toothless are comforted by Helena and Astrid and that hiccup comes up with a lie about his prostetic foot. Unfortunately hiccup feels guilty because he gave away the location of the night furies and valka is injured. Also it is good that hiccup tells stoick about adulfr and that snotlout brings in the screaming death and apologizes. Hiccup makes a good decision by realizing Berk needs help

It is good that hiccup confronts snotlout and that then gobber breaks it up. Also hiccup made the right decision to have lyse ask the night furies for help. But unfortunately hiccup and toothless go off because hiccup is angry about snotlout. This leads to hiccup and toothless meeting adulfr and we get a good sense of his motivations. It is good that Astrid and the others arrive just in time so that hiccup doesnt tell the hunters anything.

It is good that hiccup informs kingstail that spitlout is dead and asks him to keep snotlout safe. Unfortunately snotlouts mom blames hiccup but fortunately toothless says that snotlout and his mom are lashing out in their grief. It is good that hiccup tells tuffnut sagus real name and that they have a funeral and war council. When the war council happens it is understand able why snotlout is angry at hiccup but he is not right. And it is good that hiccup comes up with a solution to destroy the island that the hunters get their oleander from.

It is good that when hiccup and toothless go to the king he agrees to send dragons to help defend Berk. Hiccup does a good job of addressing the Vikings of Berk. Unfortunately even though dragons are sent to different islands the Vikings think they won a battle against the hunters but all they did was play right into the hunters hands. When the Vikings fight the hunters unfortunately the hunters once again outsmart the vikings and people die which causes hiccup to feel guilty as he feels that if he were there people might not have died.

It is good that hiccup and Astrid address the Vikings and dragons, dragons are sent to find the fleet, and that when the dragons are uncomfortable about wearing armour hiccup says that if dragons go on the mission they need to wear protective gear but if they don't want to wear protective gear they can choose not to go on the mission. It is good that gustav deducts that the hunters were using grimora and that when the war council happens they debate about whether to summon the help of the bewilderbeast and both hiccup and the others raise good points.

It is good that hiccup investigates the army composed of former members of Drago bludvists army and that Helena is brought over to stoick and valka. Then hiccup reports to the other dragons about this threat and it is good that at the end Berk wins this battle and that Berk rescues the dragons that were held captive.

It is really hartwarming that almost everyone on Berk - stoick, valka, gobber, dagur and heather, toothless, tuffnut and tuffnut, fishlegs, and snotlout give Helena presents. Also that Selena, shadow, asha, skylancer, and nocte all take a liking to Helena. And it is heartwarming that hiccup and Astrid get a new house, and that hiccup lets valka and Astrid understand think speak. Also it is good that Astrid is training to become the new chief of Berk but unfortunately Drago bludvusts army returns.

It is good while hiccup worries about the pregnancy toothless is fascinated about the pregnancy. After Helena is born toothless is upset because he fears that hookfang was right that hiccup loves Helena but not him but it is good that after valka notices hiccup and Astrid assuage his concerns. Also it is good that valka gives Helena for toothless to hold.
