I felt it was time for a change again and decided to change my penname from Yo's Subordinate simply to Sazane. Further updates about various things are pending from me (these 'things' in particular regard my stories and upcoming stories, among other things)--look in this section for further details in the coming days. I'm making the decision to stop posting my new writings at AFFdotorg. This means I'm only going to post my writings at AO3 (my handle there is the following: Y0s_Sub) and here at FFdotnet. For now I'm leaving up Indomitable at AFFdotorg--eventually I'll get around to working on that fic again, and when I do I will take it down there. As of this moment I'm also going to refrain from deleting my AFFdotorg account (I'd still like to read fic there). I just wanted to make an FYI update post about that.

I will begin the slow as hell process of putting up my work here at AO3--I've put off doing it for years, but I guess it's about time I start the transfer process. Also, note that doesn't mean I quit posting my work here.

In the last week, I've uploaded 3 new drabbles and Part XIII of my Yu Yu Hakusho Poetry Series. I'm also working on Fractured (Yes, still) and a new and upcoming, long, Yu Yu Hakusho fanfiction piece titled The Long Memory of Water (and Demons). The new project has strong amounts of Touya and Jin (not as a pairing) in it, among other things (I needed to write something other than Hiei/Yusuke for a bit). I have gone ahead and finally made the decision to delete the present incarnation of Fractured: Phantom Flames from all websites I've posted it at. Taking this action does NOT mean I've given up or have stopped writing for this story. I am COMPLETELY rewriting it. I have been editing it so much the past several years that I finally just stepped back and considered that it would be "easier" to rewrite the entire thing and give you my writing style now, instead of how I wrote then. I have saved every review I've gotten for the story and kept track of other stats related to it. I have those saved as well. This decision is not being made lightly or on a whim. I will do my best to keep the heart of what I've previously written on Fractured in tact, and when I do finally post the new version I will have the entire story completed at that point in time.

The main reason I'm taking this action is because I badly need to work out the timeline and iron out confusing things. I have so many subplots going on that I'm thinking I may need to write versions pertaining to some of the characters each in their own separate stories--but all within my timeline for Fractured. There are so many events going on behind the scenes that I feel this may be necessary.

I know I have already taken forever on this story, and I know that what I'm doing will only take longer--but when I present you with the final, completed version I can promise you that it will be some of the best work I have ever produced. My heart is intertwined deeply with this story, and I am unable to give you bad writing for it.

I do apologize for taking this action, but I feel it is the best thing I can do for now.

I'm working hard on Fractured. It's not guaranteed I will have new content up by December 24; however, I will try my best. I'm finding that it's necessary for me to add new scenes to previously written chapters, among other things. My apologies for further delay, but I refuse to give less than my best work to you guys. -Yo

Important Notice

I received a PM awhile back asking me if take requests and if I do would I write RPF (Real Person Fiction). In general you can contact me to see about requests. I may if I know the fandom. It's never a guarantee that I'll say yes, but the same goes for me saying no to you. You won't know until you ask me. If you want me to do a request we have to discuss it first. I can't very well write decent work if I don't know the fandom you want me to write for. It's as simple as that.

On another note, I feel it is vital that I say this here and now: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL I EVER WRITE REAL PERSON FICTION!!! The only exception to this might be if the person is like a 300 years dead historical figure or something (like the 19th century Romantic English poet John Keats, for example). In that case I wouldn’t be writing fanfiction, I would be writing an original piece.

The reason I won’t write RPF is because I don't wish to be sued for slander. I find the practice unethical because they are real, living, breathing people. I love certain actors and actresses as well as the next person, but the practice of writing about them instead of the characters they portray, to me, is wrong. This is just my take and opinion on the issue. I don't have anything against those who do write this type of fic, but I won't write it, so please do not ask me to.

Well, I'm 30, and I did finally manage to graduate with my master's degree in library science (officially as of August 2016). Got a librarian job, lost that job for no explained reason, and now I'm trying to find a job again. The joys of adulthood... -sigh-
