I'm not dead, apparently. This is a cause for concern.

Basically someone messaged me about my stories, and we got to talking, and I told her how Sentient was supposed to play out, and writing that plot summary got the creative juices flowing again and here I am, not dead after...six years or whatever? Yeah, I'm just as surprised as you are.

No idea where any of the outlines or notes for my stories are. I only vaguely remember the bare-bones plots. But I'm back, and updating. Old plots are out the window. Making this shit up as I go along. Bear with me.

One of the reasons I stopped updating Sentient and never finished it is because Devil May Cry 4 came out, and I couldn't reconcile the canon of that game with my story. Still not sure how I'll make it all work, but we'll see. Maybe I'll ignore canon, maybe I won't. Once again, bear with me.

I'm 26 at present. When I originally posted By Blood Connected, I lied about my age and said I was older. I was 15 and stupid and wanted to be Jira's age for wish-fulfillment purposes. Sorry. #teenagers

Work as an editor/proofreader for a marketing company.

Been published in a few literary magazines. Nothing too special.

Have written a few novels; still trying to get those published.

Only slightly embarrassed to admit I enjoyed the DmC reboot. Sue me.

STORY STATS

By Blood Connected: COMPLETE. Chock full of errors, inconsistencies, and creepy gross power abuses I didn't realize were TERRIBLE when I wrote the fic at age 15 (though at the time I was claiming to be older...more evidence I shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near the internet). Read at your own risk. Keeping it online and intact for posterity's sake, and because apparently people still like it and don't want me to take it down. Believe you me, I want to take it down. It's a time capsule with the sole function of revealing how weird I was as a kid.

By Blood Connected: Restoration: IN PROGRESS. This is the rewritten version of By Blood Connected. Removing the gross power abuse present in the original story is my main goal for the rewrite (and to make Jira less of an obnoxious teenage emo kid). Still going to be an weird sort of romance. There will be new scenes not present in the original. And less creepy-gross power abuse stuff. You're welcome.

Sentient: IN PROGRESS. The sequel to By Blood Connected. Will contain a fair bit of humor, then eventually quite a bit of plot. Will hopefully give a nice ending to Jira and Vergil. We'll see. I HAVE NO IDEA where my notes for the story are, so I'm making it up as I go along with only vague memories of the plot to guide my hand. WHAT AM I DOING, WHAT IS THIS STORY? Your guess is as good as mine.

Gravity: NO IDEA. I reread it and liked the bones of what I'd written, so I went through and fixed a few things and altered the last chapter. I think I might keep updating? Not sure. But this one is less dead than others.
