very good. The ending is brilliant. The thoughts going through Buffy's head when he denies she loves him are more then likely spot on, although I think Spike may not have done it to ensure she leave but that he may have truely believed it in his heart that she would never really want him.

I have to say this is one of the EXTREMELY few fanfics that makes me teary eyed. I'm not kidding I hardly ever cry or even get teary eyed, but this fic made me get a little teary eyed. Anyway- I love it, it's short but incredibly good.
