Greetings!

I imagine that you're curious about this writer if you've come to my profile, so I might as well try to satisfy you on some points.

I'm a 34 year old female literature geek living in the wilds of everywhere. Seriously. I move a lot. I grew up in the southern United States between Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina. I enjoy absorbing the cultures of the places I live and it helps me identify with the characters that I fall in love with in stories. They become a part of me because, at some point, I've probably lived a small portion of their literary existence in real time. Currently, I'm in the northern United States traveling between Washington DC and the entirety of New England. I adore New England.

I've been writing for several years, but have been very shy of my work. Recently, I got over that and decided that I wanted feedback and to know if people enjoyed my work as much as I enjoyed working on it. Perhaps I'm just getting facetious in my old age.

Currently, my concentration is on North and South by Elizabeth Cleghorn Gaskell. It's a delightful story that has lived in my heart for years, but the ending was so abrupt that it has always left me a bit unsatisfied and with a great many questions. I write to fix that in my own mind, and I hope yours as well. It's nice to find that I'm not the only one that just wanted more.

I doubt if North and South is going to be my only concentration though. My fandoms are wide-ranged but the best writing I do is on a story that I'm mildly unsatisfied with either through plot holes or unresolved story-lines. I'm a fan of what-if scenarios, passionate resolutions, and the tying of loose ends. I'm also a lover of coffee and wine by turns. My writing is usually influenced by one or the other and I'm interested to know if people can tell the difference between a wine induced plot and a caffeinated plot. Of course, there are the Irish coffee days and the occasional torrid affair with a bottle of good scotch!

Sadly, I am not a temperate woman.
