I don't usually leave a review, really, as someone who isn't signed on to this platform here, it always seemed rather strange to me but now i'm gonna do it anyways, for this story I just have to. I'm getting straight to the point now: What captivated me whilst reading this, was the realness of it all. The characters seemed so authentic, so tangible and most of all, so human. It never once felt like I was reading about some fictional character of a novel i've read years ago and had almost forgotten about until I stumbled upon this gem right here –which, I admit, is strange, in some sense, and an accomplishment on it's own in another. I truly felt touched and therefore wanted to thank and compliment you for your time and talent, you really are an amazing author and being.

Talk about a slow burn! The story was exquisite. I love the family you built for Hermione. It always feels like she portrayed as an only child of only children. The history and traditions were just beautifully added to create such a warm family.

I like this story, although sometimes it was too bland and too lengthy for my taste. But I absolutely loved Granger family! They were phenomenal! And letters were a really nice touch 3

First of all, how freaking brilliant are you?! I absolutely love this story. Took me 3 days to finish, which I never expected for a 25 chapter story, except your chapters are so wonderfully monstrous, I really should remember to look at the word count and not the chapter count. Like I said, I love this story wholeheartedly. The rich life you give to background characters and how hermione interacts with them. I love the AU Snape characterization due to this story being written before the last 2 books were published. It’s crazy how well you nailed Snape’s role. Brilliant. I love the slow build up the different cultures and tidbits explored in the story. Hermione’s family, Snape himself. God the way you built their friendship that so gradually and realistically grew into love. The way Hermione has a life outside of Snape. I thought this was so important and made everything so much more layered and realist. I will definitely come back to reread this story many more times in the future.

i would just like to say, that this story was incredible. i started this at 9:30 last night, and it was 12:00 pm exactly when i finished it. i’m definitely not one to binge a large story like this in a few hours, but your brilliant writing and storytelling compelled me to do just that. 17 years later, this work is going strong. well done

While I understand the concept of FanFiction is to make things up, in the books is clearly stated that Armontentia is the most powerful love potion amd that it smells as the loved one of the person who smells it. It is also quite easy to hide in food or drink as proven by Ron in The Half Blood Prince. It bothers me that they are on their seventh year at Hogwarts as if Voldemort hadn't been resurrected during Harrh's fourth year. I get it, as a fanfiction writer myself, the temptation to move things around; however, those things must be explained either in dialogue or in exposition in the first chapter to give the reader the ability to suspend their disbelief for the fanfic.
