It's weird because, as much as I love the relationship between Hermione and Snape, I really think that my favorite aspects of your fic are the scenes between him and Poppy. She knows perfectly well both how to handle him and comfort him, and damn, I love it !

Oh god this story is unbearable. Snape and Lilly seems to get unnecessarily sensational. Next thing we'll know is that their dead boy was actually alive and they raised him and then he dies after his sister was born, who also died. And also they actually did get married. Sheesh.
And damn, Hermione had nothing of substance in her. She's just a helpless damsel in distress all the time! She doesn't seem to have anything resembling common sense, much less deserving of the title of the brightest witch of her time.

To all the girls who have suffered abuse and trauma: Please don't wait for a magical connection to form with someone who would fight your battles for you without you even saying a word. People cannot read minds, and you have to excuse them for not bringing up this horrible issue again and again it you continue to insist everything is okay. Please please talk to the people close to you, no matter how shameful you feel. There's nothing wrong wrong with you. Your self worth hasn't diminished. The fault lies squarely on the perpetrator. Don't shut yourself from the people who care about you. They will fight for you or give you space, whichever you prefer. But you do desperately need to know that their regard for you hasn't changed at all because of this. Stay strong girls. You're more loved than you're shown.
