My old profile can be found here -- I've decided to create a new one, mainly because the old one is... well, old, and I wanted a separate account dedicated to Harry Potter fandom only.

I used to write and post my HP stories at a private forum, but now I've decided to make it available here for wider enjoyment. Some stories, therefore, may seem 'outdated' or cliché, as they were probably written when whatever premise I used was relatively new. Read at your own risk.

On that note, I do not tend to use a beta, and only occasionally use a proofreader. On top of that, English is my second language, so kindly excuse any grammar/spelling errors I may make. I do revise every chapter thoroughly (a little too thoroughly, to be honest) before posting, however, and I'll be happy to correct any mistakes I miss out on if anyone cares enough to point them out.

Real Life and Miscellaneous Info:

I'm female. Personality-wise, I'm quiet around strangers, but outspoken and bold around people I know and am familiar with. I'm atheist/agnostic, and frankly have no interest or patience for religion. I hate discrimination of all forms, and despise rude people. Whatever happened to 'please and thank you' these days?

I also h8 ppl writing lik dis. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for abbreviations like OMG or whatever, but seriously, some people take it too far and it just gets bloody ridiculous and very annoying. English is a beautiful language, and I believe it should be shown some respect.

I love reading, my favourite books, of course, being Harry Potter. I'll be an eternal fan, and if I ever have children, I'll make sure that they are also 'infected' with my Potter-mania. I also like the Hunger Games trilogy, Stephen King, the Dresden Files, and various dystopian novels. I've read a fair few classics, but they aren't what I'd normally read unless I happened to be in that sort of mood, or prescribed as a study text.

I hate Twilight. 'Nuff said.

I'm the biggest hypocrite when it comes to reviews. I love getting them, as all authors do, but I'm the laziest sod when it comes to reviewing other peoples' stories. I am trying to change my habits, but the thing about habits is that you do it subconsciously.

I disapprove of flamers. Spending so many minutes composing a review just to ruin someone's day is pretty damn horrible. If you don't like a story, it's simple -- don't read it. There. Don't you love logic?

My Fic Preferences:

I'm addicted to Tom Riddle/Harry Potter pairing.

Yes, I know, it's horrifying. But it's as addictive as smoking (not that I smoke, mind...) and probably just as unhealthy. XD

I've always had a weak spot for evil geniuses -- Light Yagami, Artemis Fowl, Cadel Piggot -- and of course, Tom Riddle. I have to mention also, that I prefer Tom rather than Voldemort (yes, I do believe that there is a difference), because slash fics with Voldemort tend to be extremely OOC, whereas it's easier to pull off with Tom... unless Voldemort is still 'Tom' on the inside or something... yeah.

I love AUs, especially those few deviating from CoS with Tom/Harry pairing. I also adore time-travel/dimension-travel fics, despite the clichédness of the premise. I can tolerate super!Harry as long as it's done tastefully. I like long, novel-length fics, but I do read an occasional oneshot now and then.

What I hate is character-bashing, especially Weasley-and-or-Hermione-bashing and Dumbledore-bashing. They rarely make sense, for a start, especially when Hermione or Ron suddenly turn on Harry and decide that their best friend of how-many-years is actually the epitome of darkness or whatever. As for Dumbledore, he's probably one of the most complicated characters in HP-verse, along with Snape and Tom Riddle. He's manipulative and perhaps somewhat misled, but in the end, he has his heart in the right place and I believe that he truly cared for Harry beyond his uses as the Chosen One.

Besides, Dumbledore is a great deus-ex-machina. ;-)

My Stories:

I tend to write when prompted, 'cause I'm too lazy to do it otherwise. Many of my stories were posed as a challenge or a request by friends or other readers. I also tend to hold off posting until I've finished the fic, because I'd hate to abandon something or leave people hanging for weeks/months/years for an improbable update.
