mrab52811 chapter 28 . 2/20 ok I've read both versions of this story and I think I love Rogers as much as I love Dobby in the cannon ️ |
HarryPotterFangirl85 chapter 32 . 12/2/2019 Well, I didn’t think I’d want to read this, since it was retelling the previous story that I had just finished reading, but you made it just interesting enough that I ended up reading it anyways. So kudos. |
ANGEL FALLEN FROM HEAVEN chapter 32 . 9/17/2019 I really enjoyed this. Sure some parts got boring but I loved the relationships and inner monologue of each character |
Nelui Wysteria chapter 9 . 1/29/2019 Interesting internalized POV from Draco regarding pain, bondage, and trust. Wise people generally don't engage in those activities without being able to either communicate openly and clearly or without having a deep level of trust and intimacy that allows them to understand those "movements in the mind" to enough of a degree that the well being of the one receiving is always being monitored. However I do agree with Draco's assessment of Harry's current mindsets and behaviors. I personally would never engage in any form of BDSM with someone who has such a heavily distorted view of themselves and a low regard for their own safety and well-being. He very well may allow something to continue outside the realm of consent without even informing Draco, or anyone else for the matter, about it. Which is nonconsensual towards the person who is fucking Harry too. Also, there is stubborn and then there is stupidity. There is independent and then there is rigidity. Both are weaknesses when not held in moderation and make Harry brittle and easy to break. |
Kthp chapter 6 . 12/24/2018 Wow, reading this chapter from the Malfoy's POV changes how I interpreted this moment so much! It was nice seeing how much effort they put into everything, to be seen as perfect and knowledge. For instance, when Lucius mouthed to Narcissa to let her know what is happening. I also really enjoy the way you write Narcissa's relationship with Draco. Her understanding of why Draco is so excited to be with Harry puts a lot into perspective. Lol, it would have been great for Harry to read this chapter. |
Kthp chapter 1 . 12/22/2018 Ahhhh! How have I never read this?I just finished re-reading Bloody but Unbowed and was disappointed I couldn't leave another review for the last chapter (I left one in 2014) and now I'm in shock! I get to read this amazing story all over again from Draco's POV? Yay! Thank you! |
Guest chapter 32 . 7/2/2018 this story was amazing. beautifully constructed |
Lady of Moon Over Silver Seas chapter 32 . 4/21/2018 He could have sent a howler... seriously though, this is awesome. Both halves are actually |
Guest chapter 2 . 11/22/2017 Actually, I like this more than bloody but unbowed. Since they are from separate perspectives, the writing is so different. |
babyvfan chapter 9 . 11/15/2017 You gotta give it up to Draco. He doesn't give up |
babyvfan chapter 1 . 11/15/2017 I loved Bloody but Unbowed and so so happy you did a sequel to it. Well not really sequel but a companion to the first one, told from Draco’s POV |
unfittingpuzzlepieces chapter 32 . 8/20/2017 This was beautiful! It was great seeing the cultural clash from the other perspective :D Very well done |
Lady Hallen chapter 32 . 11/24/2016 Everytime I think back on this fic, I thought I would be prepared for the fucking FEELS. It seems that this fic proves me wrong every time too. The Malfoy's are proudly vicious, which is awesome, but Harry is so unbelievably scarred yet still unbroken that it's beautiful. Thanks for writing this. I'll just sniffle quietly. ~hallen |
Guest chapter 32 . 7/26/2015 Even better than the first one and I thought that was fantastic! |
Beth9891 chapter 32 . 6/14/2014 This was a great side story. Though made harry seem a tad naive.. I'm glad Draco decided to honor Harry's morals in the end :-) |
