If you recognize this name, whether it's from fanfiction or from another community, congrats! You've probably been on an internet for a while, so I'm going to address some concerns relating to exactly what was published under every "MassiveSinger" account. (It's really only been bothering me, but maybe someone will find comfort or nostalgia in this.) It's been 3 years since I've updated, so I feel this is really necessary. I don't want somebody to stumble on what I published and do something negative as a result. The account is still here because I'm attached to the PMs and I want to check out my favorited stories/authors.

Dear Fanfiction Authors

If you didn't like this story when you were reading it, I can safely tell you after 4 years I don't like it either. I'm sure a lot of people were expecting some sort of fanfiction where Phineas and Ferb literally write letters to their fans, which would've been an amazing concept. Instead, it breached a rule that has been broken over and over again: the story had a very chatbox-like format.

"Why? Why would somebody write something like this? Why is it so out-of-character? Why do Phineas and Ferb keep on misusing fandom terms? This is just a collection of really bad opinions from the writer."

You're right. You hit the nail on the head on why it was so bad. I'm sure there were plenty of people skipping through 10 chapters just to see if the story had any progression, wondering how such a bizarre, flamey story got 300 reviews. The story had an unofficial big sister. I was 10 at the time and noticed that a similar "Dear Fanfiction Authors" story for another fandom had a lot of reviews and feedback. Being the 10-year-old I was, I assumed the reviews showed how successful the story was. I eagerly broke the rules. I didn't notice why the other story became successful: It had an overarching plot and plenty of chapters that had narrative and in-character dialogue. The author was careful not to flame whatever they disliked, and it genuinely seemed like the opinions belonged to the characters, rather than the author.

Now I can see why the rule was in place. (Also, I just realized if I'm going to use a totally free service, it's better to agree to their terms. I can publish poor quality stories on Tumblr.) I don't think this will totally stop me from writing "chat" stories in the future, but if a story is dialogue heavy, I'll make sure there's some kind of a plot. Honestly, I'd take this story as a learning experience. Thank goodness nobody thought to archive it or report me.

Think Inside the Box!

The title makes me laugh. This was my first fanfiction. Gosh, the characterization was so off. I'm glad only a handful of people saw it. There's nothing horribly wrong with the fanfiction aside from that. Actually, I'd argue that it tried to be tonally similar to Season 1 of Gravity Falls. Funny and lighthearted, with a slight hint of mystery. If you haven't read it or don't remember it, it's a dull, slow adventure of how Dipper gets himself stuck in a box while Mabel attempts to save him and Stan tries to scam another customer. It's not quality, though. I have little interest in fixing it, so I deleted it with everything else.

Heinz's Father's Day

I wish I was more creative with titles. Even today, I have trouble coming up with decent titles. Basically, it's a messy one-shot of how Heinz tries to impress Vanessa while Perry the Platypus tries to help. Once again, I don't think this is worth fixing. It got deleted.

Dear Diary

More like "Dear Irving" Remember that creepy stalker? It was basically my interpretation. I guess you could say it was an improved version of Dear Fanfiction Authors, but instead of addressing us, Phineas and Ferb address Irving after realizing that he sneaks into their journals. One thing to note was that it was weirdly passive-aggressive for an 11-year-old to write.
