My heart is screaming in agony, a pain so great and vast it drowns me in it's wake. This story is wonderfully written and it's surely one who's effects will last with me until the end of my days. The ending specifically will forever be etched into my mind with the words of a thousand unspoken worlds. Thank you.

Omg! I love this! Poor Zane!

I don't think I realized just how kindred Skales and Zane were. They're almost narrative foils... Saying that, I'm sort of sad Zane never took up his offer.

Also, it shows great growth on Skales part to offer Zane a new life. That was nice.

Now... Another story to read...

This was a nice, and considerably dark, not to mention somewhat... Epileptic fic. Very good. I'm sad to see it go. :(

What are you talking about Radio Silence was less okay than this?

I think I felt worse at the end of this one because Zane really did still have a choice...
Also it was possibly a bit better written or something.

All I know is that this had far more feels than Radio Silence does. And I just read Radio Silence.

I liked this chapter, too. I might say that it was my favorite.

Although... And this may have been intentional, but I couldn't properly place Pain's mood. It seemed like a mix between rage, malice, perhaps a twinge of jealousy, and a dallop of finality.

I don't know, I think that, all things considered, it could be a happy ending. Pyrrhic as all hell, but happy. After all, they won. :)

Oh my gosh. I am officially jealous. I love tour writing style and the way you portray the characters. I agree, Doctor Julien is one of the more "human" members of the cast, with his unique mixture of strengths and weaknesses.

Definitely following, even if there isn't much of this story left! :)
