This story was very good! Please continue it. I got involved. I wanna find out if our poor King Babar gets himself killed inside Retaxes's castle or not.

THIS IS ADORABLE! I watched the Babar film for the first time in years the other week, and I happened to wonder if there would be a fic here-yay for you! I am a college art major so cartoons will always be near and dear to my heart; I always liked Rataxes (well the TV show Rataxes at least) and wondered about his background :) Thanks for an insightful and very plausible read!

wow, a Babar fanfic ... double wow, it's a really great babar fanfic.
I was searching through some stories and came across yours ... I'd never thought that their would be a true babar fan that wrote stories! This was a great read, and you got the characters down perfectly. It says that it hasn't been updated since 2002 ... I do hope that you finish this ... It would be such a waste :) keep it up.

I like this story, and I hope you continue it. Even though I haven't seen the TV series in years (man, I remember watching it every morning on the Family Channel...I feel old now...), I was able to sympathize with the characters. Please, keep going _

BABAR! I LOVE BABAR! I remember in the movie, when Rataxes said "I'm sorry for starting a war!" It was so funny! I like this story... I'm so glad I found it! BABAR!

Well... I certainly never expected to see a BABAR story on the net... ever. But just because I didn't expect it, doesn't mean, however, that I didn't think it was any good. I actually liked it. And I would be interested in seeing it finished.
