WHAT'S THE LATEST...

Real life absolutely caught up on me. Much of my focus had been on real-life matters (such as my health, which basically sequestered me away from here for a good handful of years) along with many dreams of finishing my original fic projects as well as my work-in-progress fanfictions. A real-life good and wise friend asked me recently as to whether I know how all my work-in-progress fanfics and original stories would end. I truthfully answered her by saying, "For the most part, yes, I do."

She told me, "Get going on them...no matter how long they each would take."

Yes, it has been a while, but this haven of mine that I have kept for many years hasn't been forgotten. I've grown a lot through writing, and have encouraged many others in real life to use writing as an outlet. At the same time, I have made many virtual friends as a writer and a beta-reader.

I'm also happy that my OCs - characters that are in my work-in-progress original fic projects that are currently for my eyes only - have grown so much...and this is all thanks to the readers throughout the years who have taken the time to reach out to me and let me know what they think.

What does the above statement mean? It means that I have been revisiting this haven and haven't forgotten my goal in finishing my fics. I will add more to what I have left hanging -- all while pushing forward in finishing my original fic projects. At the same time, I owe quite a bit of people my deepest apologies (friends who have virtually reached out to me for beta help, or just to talk).

With that being said, I wish everyone happy writing and more power to all of you!

ABOUT THE FICS THAT I WRITE...

I normally follow the spirit of the fandom that I write fics for. My Batman, Nightwing, and Bat Family fics are non-yaoi and focus on the adventures and familial relationship between our beloved heroes.

All Voltage Inc. / Love 365 fics are non-yaoi.

My Petshop of Horror fics, since the series teases its readers with harmless speckles of hinted shonen-ai, also has them.

My Yami no Matsuei / Descendants of Darkness fics are yaoi, since YnM is truly a yaoi series.

Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi / Junjou Romantica are yaoi / boy's love series...so expect that all my fics in this fandom to be yaoi too.

Last but not the least, all but one of my Yu-Gi-Oh fanfics are non-yaoi (Faust, Yu-Gi-Oh Style is a yaoi fic).

Now that you have been advised above, you know where to go -- or not go.

NOTE ABOUT MY REVIEWS TO OTHERS...

I am not, and will never be, a flamer. I also do not appreciate people who flame others. Life is too short. We need to be supportive and kind to each other. To me, flaming is cyber-bullying.

As to reviews, I will be very honest. If it's a bad review, I will e-mail the author personally and offer my humble and objective opinion as to what improvements can be applied...and when I do this, my intentions are kind. If it's a good review, I post it here and I let my feelings be known about the things that I liked in my review.

We're all writers who are trying to develop our skills. We need to stick with constructive criticism. I don't go for vulgarity, insults, and the other unnecessary stuff.

TIDBITS...

Wes is my beta-reader, good friend, fellow SW/YGO/HP fan, and sister-in-faith. She wrote a poem when she beta-read Chapters One and Two of The Battle for Lost Souls. The poem's entitled Timeless Shadows - a piece that I like for biased and unbiased reasons. We're also working on a crossover SW/YGO/HP story - she's the main navigator, and Emrys will make her appearance there, too. We get in touch every now and then.

Last, but not the least, an equally memorable English teacher (Mrs. Donovan at Harrison High School) once told me that throughout one's academic career, there will always be a class and a professor that stands out among the rest. All of them were tough graders and demanded much to the point that it drained me. I sure learned much academically, personally, and spiritually that all the efforts exerted were returned more than its weight in gold.

Mrs. Donovan is my memorable experience in high school. Dr. Cokelez, my Statistics professor, is also the same for me in my undergrad university days. Mrs. Donovan, Dr. Cokelez...thank you both for being such patient and wonderful teachers.

The same kudos go to the lovely souls who made my MBA days at Pepperdine University memorable...Dr. Vance Caesar and Dr. Leslie Evan's Organizational Behavior class.
