I love this story! I love Nightwing, and I love Dick Grayson! I also especially loved Dick and Damian's time together as Batman and Robin. I felt that it brought out the best in both of them, and the experience solidified their relationship as brothers and comrades.

So thank you for this fic! It was well-written and basically the discourse between the two was a great stage to flex their respective smart-aleck muscles...lol...

I couldn't help but smile and enjoy the ride on this one!

Aha, I love how Dick tries to play the stern father, only to totally break because what Damian does is just ADORABLE sometimes, even though he doesn't try to be, and he can't but be amused/proud of the silly/paranoid/Bruce-like things Damian does.

And okay, I can TOTALLY see Dick living in an RV. Seriously. It makes so much SENSE.

I love both the idea of the traveling-pseudo-vardo for Dick and all of the many reasons Damian should join the fencing team at school.

Dick as Damis big brother/paternal figure is what I love to read about. I'd also like to add, that it's great how Bruce being back, Dami still holds Dick in a high place wether as his brother/guardian or batman to his robin. I think it's really nice how Dick is the one to show Damian about affection while also showing athority with respect. He does a combination of these wonderfully. With Stoic Bruce and Talia not in his life anymore, its important for Dami as a kid (raised to be an assasin) to learn about affection and to start caring for others. He's a kid. And I like that Dick is one of the few that reminds Dami that he is. There's more to life for him. His big brother shows him that. I'm really happy with their relationship .

I really love this story. I'm not sure I can fully express how much. Everyone's in character, the dialogue and narration are wonderful, and nothing is over or under done. It's funny and interesting, and Dick actings as a parent to Damian is one of my favourite things. And then you bring in cultural context... it's perfect.

Now I'm also really interested in your thoughts on Ra's origin. By Persian Arab, did you mean an Arab who grew up in Persia, or that he was of mixed ancestry?

Cute. I love the details about Damian's and Dick's cultural influences, and Dick trying to get his brother to be more human is always storytelling gold. Also love the reason for Damian's suspension, since he'd probably try that in the comics.

Damian would try to stuff as many ethnicities as is feasible into his background, if it would grant him the right to bear arms of his cultural heritage. ("Mr. Wayne, this is a gun!" "As Father is a US citizen, I wear it for my cultural heritage...")
