Wow...things like this don't often leave me speechless. It's beautiful, simple, real. Amazing writing, you've captured Hisoka perfectly, and the others referenced you can recognize instantly. I like the way you've shown the sheer zaniness of life in Meifu that comes across much more clearly in the manga than the anime. I really enjoyed Hisoka's opinion of coffee: "the caffeine kick is good, but the faint taste of Tsuzuki that permeates your heart with warmth every time you take a sip is even better." Aw...

Good story really. Not too angst but not too fluff. Just a good combination to describe how was Hisoka's days at Meifu. How he learned to trust, to care of others. Love your story.

I can do nothing but grin at this fic. I loved the tone of voice and how Hisoka tells about things from his point of view. I thought it was more sweet than angsty. _ And I enjoyed reading this fic.

X_X Okay, I love your work, really, but this seems rather disorganized. Maybe you wanted it this way, but I think that the way you entwine the humor shorts and the angst shorts makes the humor less humorous and the angst less angsty. I think that it would flow more smoothly if you started out with very humorous parts and then gradually merge into the angst. Also, you seem to alternate between past and present tense. The first sentence says "You learn", but then the second sentence says "You've learned".

Okay, past all the constructive criticism that I probably have no right to be saying...
