Author has written 7 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, Bleach, Evangelion, Fate/stay night, Lord of the Rings, Code Geass, Rosario + Vampire, Mass Effect, Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple, and Naruto. Okay, I'm going to stick this up here to remind myself of what needs to be done and to explain some things. The Black Rebellion story was pushed really far back on my list when a file with all of the notes for the backstory and plot got deleted, and though I still update my thoughts every once in a while it is unlikely that I will continue that story. A Matter of Blood came up really fast and caught fire, and I have most of the overarching plot put together and I'm probably going to write that story up for good amount of time barring any major changes. I also have three other stories that have a significant amount of writing and development done for them, but the actual content is spaced out throughout their plots and I have yet to finalize anything for them. The first is a story for Naruto, that I have written a good 20,000 or so words for, but they are spread in the timeline instead of focused on the opening. My biggest problem with that story is organizing the beginning, but I have been piecing it together bit by bit. This story focuses on Naruto getting the curse mark and it awakening a second, darker personality within him. I have written that relationship much like that between Ichigo and his Hollow. I've also made him best friends with Kiba, so that there is a little bit of "the fox and the hound" subplot going on(no this is non slash or yaoi or whatever the hell you call it. If there was a relationship in this story I would make it between Naruto and a civie cause traditional relationships are boring, I think an unprejudiced normal person would be perfect for Naruto). The second one is a story for Inheritance, an OC character story set after the cycle and using a few non-cannon magical capabilities. The OC is basically a young mercenary who grew up fighting and is just at the start of the story beginning to set out on his own path after apprenticing to Tenga for six months and deciding to invent a new set of magic. He basically uses magic instinctively to enhance his body, but now he is learning the ancient language and setting out on a quest to create his own...branch of magic for lack of a better description. I don't really want to give anything away here. I have maybe 15,000 words written for that and the beginning is already finished, I just haven't put it on the site yet. The third story also has a solid beginning, and even an overall plot, but I haven't written any of the plot down and I am unsure of where to go. This story is a "Naruto goes back to the clan war era" plot that I really wanted to write, my only problem is how to proceed now that Naruto has roots in the Uzumaki clan and a friendship with Tobirama. I want to set this story up to proceed very rapidly, maybe taking a little more than 60,000 words and being divided into three or four major time periods set one to two years apart. This would basically run through from the founding of the concept of Konoha up to the conflict between Madara and Hashirama. I actually have a fourth possible story also set in the Avatar world. This one revolves around an Earth Kingdom Avatar set waaaay before The Last Airbender and I also have the plot notes finished, and even around 5,000 words for the beginning written, I'm just unsure of whether or not this is a plot bunny or not. If I did go through with this story, it would be like my third story and I would limit the entire thing to under 60,000 words so that I could actually finish the story. That would mean lots of timeskips and abbreviated descriptions. If I manage to get my first Naruto story on track then I could probably write a considerable amount for it in a short time, though I would skim through the Chuunin Exams really fast. As I said, I am going to focus on the story for A Matter of Blood simply because I want to take advantage of my enthusiasm for it before anything burns out and my writing returns to one or two paragraphs every week. |
