its sara chapter 5 . 7/20 I really love this one. It has so much potential The point of view that the caged bird seal is totally necessary is so fresh. Some other fics would just state that it should be removed, without the consequences it brings (I think changing the seals to a 'kinder' and not for slavery ones are more agreeable). Really love the characters |
Macchiato'-'Dreaming chapter 3 . 7/2 But this one is so interesting! I wish you could have developed it a bit further, like you did with the Uchiha SI, although I admit I wouldn't know where to take it either... While being Kaka-sensei's daughter isn't a terribly original tale, the way you spun it makes it more so. I really liked this one :) |
Macchiato'-'Dreaming chapter 1 . 7/2 Holy. This is surprisingly realistic? There's moments when you're in so deep, and it's easier to just swim down, right? You know where that's from. |

Marching Madly Onward chapter 3 . 10/4/2019 I come back to these shorts every so often, and it is easy to see why. Every one of them is a hit. I like Meimu's coming to the natural conclusion that strength is the only thing worth having when she comes of age in a world at war. I like Umi's worm's eye view of the mess that is Mist. Kakashi-as-father is a fun idea, and I would read an entire story following Hiya's journey in the early days of the village, possibly as the number two of newly installed Hokage Mito. You tackle such a wide variety of characters in such radically different circumstances, and you build up a world around them that feels real and breathing and alive. In fact, the only thing I dislike about this series is that there isn't any more of it. I would read about Hiya for pages, and I would love to see Yuzu Yamanaka and Urashima Uzumaki get their time in the sun. You did so well with the other five that I have to think those two would be a treat, too. But even if you never return to this series, you can be very proud of it. It's a blast. |
