So...it has been a very long time since I was last on this website. Let's suffice it to say life happened and I lost my passion for writing as a result of it. It was around this time that I stopped writing my first story Inuyasha- The Next Generation. To anyone who may still care about it...no, I do not plan to finish it at this time. Sorry folks. Maybe in the future I will reboot it, but as of now it is retired and deserves to rest in peace.

My name is Ariane and I am now a senior in college, about to graduate with a degree in Animal Science and eventually I want to go to vet school. I have a dog named Lucia and although she drives me absolutely nuts sometimes, I still love her to death.

I like all sorts of different shows. In the world of anime some of my favorites include: Bleach, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Blue Exorcist and Inuyasha. In cartoons some of my favorites are Avatar the Last Airbender and more recently the Nickelodeon adaptation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (they are so precious I don't care what anyone says!). In what I call "real human actor" shows some of my favorites are: Teen Wolf, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries and Sherlock.

I also listen to different types of music as long as the tune or lyrics appeal to me. So I'm not a fan of dub step or most of that techno stuff that is played at a lot of clubs.

So as to what brought my return to writing, well I accredit that to a lot of really talented individuals on here who write such amazing works that they stimulated my creative sense that I thought had died a long time ago. I also give the credit to the 2012 TMNT series for having so many spaces in the plot to fill with my own ideas. The final push was when I was absolutely bored out of my mind when I got sick with the flu for a week. Lol.

While I was sick, I reread a fanfiction called Falling written by a really talented Fantasia Wandering (if you haven't already, you should totally check out her page here: /u/4301625/FantasiaWandering) and in one of the chapters she hints as to why she believes a certain character has some particular scars on his person. This intrigued me and when I read some of her posts on tumblr and found some more places where she talked about it, I had to ask her if she ever planned to write about it. I respect her decision, but it didn't help that my brain had decided to take matters into its own hands and gave me a plot bunny to chase around until I was satisfied. So now I'm about finished with this project and for the longest time I had debated as to whether or not I would share it with anyone outside a select few friends and family. And since I went to all the trouble of talking about it on this here profile, I'm pretty sure everyone who reads this will come to the conclusion that I am going to unveil it here when it is done. ;)

Current Projects:

A Madman's Revenge: For the TMNT 30th Anniversary. Shredder has had visions of different versions of himself being defeated nonstop by different incarnations of the turtles and finally goes crazy with a desire for revenge. Will his madness destroy the turtles? Or will they somehow be saved?

So, I got the idea for this while I was getting ready for school one morning. This will be written for Zebralily999's Community "TMNT 30th Anniversary Fics". It's my first attempt at writing something like this, so I hope you guys like it :)

To Save a Friend: Written for justanhappyotome on tumblr. Based on the episode "Of Rats and Men" of the 2012 TMNT series. When rodents of unusual sizes attack New York, a young turtle finds himself in the midst of a battle to save a young girl from potential disaster. She had given him tea, and now it was time he returned the favor.

This was a one-shot I was requested to write for one of my followers on my tumblr account. She had an idea in regards to a certain turtle's tardiness and well...I was inspired. So, I personally think it turned out well. :)

Ten Seconds for Disaster: Inspired by Fantasia Wandering's wonderful fanfiction Falling. Ever wonder how Raphael gained the scars on his plastron and shell? What if Leonardo lost control of himself for a brief moment during training when they were younger which led to a horrible mistake he can never take back?

Yes, I'm aware that the scars exist during that flashback and in the opening credits of every episode, but I decided that I don't care. I'm writing this mainly for myself (so that my brain will finally leave me alone about all this) and my friends/family. If it bothers you that I'm taking creative liberty with a moment from their childhood that hasn't been proven anywhere by anyone or anything official at the time I'm writing this, then you don't have to read it.

Update 3/6/14: One of my guest reviewers (Shadow Hunter) for Ten Seconds for Disaster told me about a song called "Monster (How should I feel?)" by Meg and Dia that they felt represented the story.
