What a beautiful and tragic story. You’ve captured the characters perfectly and their interactions with each other are amazingly written as well as the rest of the story. I’ve always looked for a good origin story of Beyond but I gave up on that a long time ago. And then I randomly come across yours one day and I was taken aback by the first chapter. I love Beyond’s character and I agree, he is very underrated. It’s sad a lot of Death Note fans do not know who he even is. All in all, Beyond Birthday deserved better. Lovely story. Thank you for this!

My spark for this character has been reignited, thanks to this story. And listening to the music in tandem with reading it is a perfect way to inject depression inducing levels of 'feels' directly into one's being...

Oh my God, I love this story! I have always felt that Beyond is a very underrated character who deserve more spotlight, and preferably his own story. I love you for writing that story, and it's one of the most plausible fanfics I have read this far. I will probably read it again, and again and several times more, thank you so much! :)

...*opens mouth*...*closes mouth* i'm..sad that he did that from the beginning, but he didn't have to go THAT far. :( he could have apologized to Beyond, yes i'll admit BB would have been VERY hurt but there could have been a chance of him forgiving A. *shrugs* or maybe that's just my forgiving nature talking. *sighs sadly* who knows. i mean he could have said "ok, i'm gonna tell you something and your going to be VERY hurt and angry at me but hear me out" and then proceed to tell him. not sure how WELL it would have gone but there was STILL that one chance.

;-; *laughs* i think i'm officially in LOVE with L, he handled that BEAUTIFULLY! granted most adults, schools and orphanages would handle it like that too, at least i HOPE so. but the point still stands that. was. AWESOME.

I am amazed at how you fit everything together. Everything made sense, and you put thought into everything. (I'm not sure if the amount of chapters in this story was intentional or not, but anyways, I noticed it :D). I really liked the ending, which is perfect.
