I have some work over on Fictionpress that I would love some feedback on. I'm on there as Calanthe Vered and I have a completed original, novel length, book posted and there are more in the series if any of you would like to read it over there. Here's a short look into my originals works that are completed but not yet posted. If anyone would like toread it just send me a pm or reviews one of my stories.

Odd And Made For Another Life- My first attempt at a novel. It's technically novel length at like 50 words over 50,000. It's about a reverse vampire, a vampire that drinks its own blood to survive, who breaks out of his prison to find a place he really belongs. His name is Peter and he uncovers so many things in the past as he makes his way into a future he wants to keep. Has, of course, vampirism and witches in it. I think its a nice little book. I wrote it for Nanowrimo one year and I have so much respect for that. It helps future authors find what works for them. So thanks Nanowrimo! Anyway, if you want to read it send me a PM and I'll dig it out and post it on here in full.

The Purest Form- Okay, this is over 180,000 words and needs a few tweaks before being put on here but I'll give it a synopsis. Soraya has known she was a shifter since she was ten. She had her first shift then and has kept it a secret from everyone, including her two best friends, Wyatt and Alice. Only they have secrets of their own. How is it that all three of them are shifters and none of them knew? Soraya parents turn out to be adoptive and Soraya, Alice, and Wyatt are thrust into another world completely called Bravura. There Soraya is a queen and with it come so many messed up traditions. She will make her own path and forever change Bravura for the better. She will fight for her country and those she loves. So much happens in this book it should really be two, maybe even three, that said it is broken up into four parts. This book is special to me and I would love to share it. Soraya goes through so much, more than anyone should, and as in all my books, she perseveres. That's the theme for all my books. Women who are brought down and find it within themselves and those they love to fight and come out on top. I'd be really interested to see if anyone likes this one. It's kinda been pushed out of my mind while I've focused on The Color of Blood Series but in a way, it's on a whole other level. Soraya, like Accalia, like Peter, and like so many of my other characters will be pushed to the breaking point and fight to the surface.
