Hey just wanna say this is a great work but there’s a review that keeps saying he/she ships HG/SS that makes me sick. This is a LM/HG story so if you don’t like this pair just don’t read it.

Omg this ending killed me! The last lines of the epilogue were so beautiful though I started crying! But Lucius can’t be dead! He’s too amazing!

I’ve been binge reading your works, and have generally enjoyed them. You’re the empress of the one shot.
Halfway through this story, I started to disconnect from the plot because the response from the characters were mainly clichés that doesn’t sync with the established characters personality as you’ve written them in the beginning. Hermione doesn’t really experience realistic consequences to her actions. What about an inquiry from the ministry? Especially since it’s now come to light that she’s been having an affair with Malfoy? It was a great concept, but for me the landing didn’t quite stick.
I really do enjoy your writing. I hope this doesn’t come off harsh or uncaring.

This story is so raw and beautiful and realistic and haunting... I remember reading it a few years ago and it has stuck with me. Two chapters into my reread and it’s just as good as I remember

I’d like to add that I only ever read HG/SS, and if LM happens to feature that’s not so bad is it? This is the first fic I’ve given myself over to reading without a single mention of SS. It was sublime. I thoroughly enjoyed it despite my prejudice for dark brooding wizards

Argh I’m really irked by the fact that LM keeps referring to her as ‘the mudblood’ in his thoughts and even more so when HG (never HW!) qualifies herself as such in her own thoughts... but I suppose that is part and parcel of your AN at the top.. are they deluding themselves by fabricating distance?
