Yes, I've finally updated! Thanks to those who've already reviewed!

Here's an idea I got from reading 'Junky's' profile. I thought it was awesome, so with no offence to the affable Mr.Junky, I'd like to replicate it. Anyone else who wants to use it, go ahead. I'd love to see others.

If I was a Harry Potter Character

House: Ravenclaw

Quidditch Position: Chaser

Favourite Class: Charms (unless I'm allowed to put in my own invented class here, 'Philosophy of Magic'?)

Most Unfavorable Class: Believe it or not, Defence Against the Dark Arts (People are so going to hate me now!)

Electives Chosen: Divination

Favourite Hobby: Playing 'exploding May-I'

Future Occupation: Crotchety old Wand Maker

Familiars: Two overly chatty felines

Animagus Form: Timberwolf

Wand: An eighth sized cello endpin (nine inches, steel rod with ebony handle, and a core of liquid phoenix song)

Special Abilities: Er... I can juggle?

Element: Earth

Patronus form: an Emperor Penguin

Here it is:

The four founders of Hogwarts each possessed one object which they prized beyond measure. Three of these objects were used by Voldemort as his Horcruxes. Only one of the four we know to be safe. One of the other three is an object not known to us.

One of which was a cup, owned by Helga Hufflepuff. The next, a locket from Salazar Slytherin.A sword owned by Godric Gryffindor, which is the only one we know for certain is safe from Voldemort, seeing as it is currently encased in glass in Dumbledore's (former) office. (snifff!)

The one object that is unknown is something of Ravenclaw's, but I think I might know where to start, (sort of).

By researching the traditional meanings behind ordinary playing cards, we may be able to devine something interesting about Ravenclaw's missing object. (Those of you who have read Davinci Code, rejoice, for it has paid off in intelligence and understanding!)

The suit of Hearts: originally known as cups, or 'the chalice'. It is the feminine symbol of motherly love. the V shape in the heart was the important part, and the dip down in the top centre shows that it is sort of a wine glass shape. A vessel in which a mother nurtures her child. Shaped also like a womb. Hence Hufflepuff owning a cup! Duh!

The suit of Spades: originally known as swords, it is the symbol of male virility. The shape of the spade is based on the point of a spear. (It's also a bit of a phallic symbol but I'll refrain from POINTing that out.) Hence Gryffindor keeping a sword! AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING THIS!

The suit of Clubs: Used to be known as wands or staves. It is a masculine symbol representing protection. shaped like the top of a holy man's staff, it also has some religious connotations, but I'm afraid I can't remember what they are. (this is all off the top of my head right now, so forgive me.) This one is a little more difficult to relate to Harry Potter, but I'm pretty sure Slytherin's locket represents protection too. as in 'LOCK IT'. I may be wrong, in this instance. It's a little too obscure. It's also possible that the locket was never a Horcrux at all, and Voldemort chose to put the Horcrux into Slytherin's wand. (That would make more sense with this particular theory. Sorry, I can't be any more specific. I believe when we run in to Regulus A. Black it will all come a little clearer.)

Here it comes...

The suit of Diamonds: Once known as Pentacles, Coins, or the Star. The feminine symbol of divinity. A goddess or holy woman. (Yes, I think so of Ravenclaw see, I am one.) It could be that the three Hogwarts mates are looking for a star of some type, but it could also be an important coin, or it could be as simple as a diamond ring. ( i doubt it'll be a ring, since Dumbledore already destroyed one of those. The Gaunt family ring, which was also a Horcrux. I don't think Voldemort would use the same object twice for his Horcruxes.) Whatever it is, it'll belong to Ravenclaw, I'm certain, and not be another Gryffindor thing. Regarding the 'Star' idea, could it be a person perhaps? For instance, 'Bellatrix','Sirius', 'Regulus', 'Andromeda', and 'Draco' are all stellar constellations. Just a thought. I don't think a coin is too far fetched either. maybe we'll see that they symbol for the Black family (to whom all of the previously named people are related) is actually a Star inside a circle, and that they are descended from Ravenclaw herself. wouldn't that be weird? I'll bet that one of them is the keeper for 'Ravenclaw's coin' or something stupid like that, which since they're almost all dark wizards, is how Voldemort was able to get his hands on it and turn it into a Horcrux. Do you think Regulus might have known this? Did Voldemort kill him and use thismurder to make his last Horcrux out of 'Ravenclaw's coin?'

WHEW! that feels good to get off my chest. It just popped in there this afternoon, and I couldn't shake it loose until I'd thought it to death. Everyone let me know what you think of this theory of mine, either by e-mail, or in a review. I'm going to leave this page as my active profile for as long as possible, but I may change or add some things as I think of them.

I'd also like to challenge anyone to write a story about this. I think I'll have to hold off until I've finished Harry Potter and the Founder's Sword. It's too late to add this into the story, so I'll just keep plodding on.
