PMs are currently disabled while I'm working on an overhaul of my profile and stories. Maybe I'll open them again sometime in the future, maybe a few months or so.

I am currently doing the following, which will slow my ability to write: grad school classes, mentor teacher training, and weekly meetings for a variety of programs or committees. Therefore, my writing will be drastically delayed and much slower than usual. This also means that some of my stories will likely be pushed back until I am fully able to begin writing again. I do apologize, but because of the Covid-19 situation, things have changed immensely for us teachers, who are trying our best to figure out good ways to incorporate distance teaching/learning into our curriculum next year. It's a big change, so please be patient with me.

Note 1: While I appreciate that people seem to enjoy the universe I've created for the post-show occurrence with Sofia the First, I'd appreciate it if you ask me before using my universe and/or OCs. I worked hard to create the version of the story that I have going on, and my OCs are just that: MY original characters. I've had a few writers ask to borrow them in their stories, and that's fine if I'm asked beforehand (since I usually give the go-ahead, depending on the content), but please don't make any assumptions. I have a continuous story line that's been built upon the last 6 years now, and those who've read consistently understand how that all works together in the context of my "STF Universe," so to speak.

Note 2: I’m aware some of you are hesitant about the direction my stories are heading, especially pertaining to some of the characters. I get it. My style or my direction may not be for everyone, and that’s fine. I’ll respect your decision if you choose not to follow my stories anymore in the future because of the difference in preferences; however, please respect my decision to write for the characters and situations in the manner I prefer, just as I’ve respected others for pursuing their own paths in their own story lines. Things will not be the same as they always have been after the end of this “season,” and they’re even in transition right now, so it’s up to you if you would like to continue with my story lines or if you decide that they’re not for you. Either way, I’ll understand. ~Aqua

NOTE 3: With all the mess going on with the virus, clearly a lot of people have been affected. If you have a senior (in high school, in college, or in life—as in elderly) in your life, be understanding to them especially. All this uncertainty and shutdown/lockdown/quarantine stuff is negatively impacting our society and friends/family, so be kind to them. I predominantly teach high school seniors, and they’re scared and angry, which is absolutely understandable. Here’s hoping that things get resolved soon.

On Top of the World: "After an eventful and very stressful last few months, Cedric takes Sofia on a much-needed getaway to Morea Mountain, which is said to be the highest and most beautiful accessible mountain top in the realm. 1. The Man from Nowhere: "Greylock and Ivy invite several people to celebrate their daughter Zinnia’s birthday, and while there, the visitors learn of a strange yet vaguely familiar man (to Cedric and Sofia, at least) who has taken up residence on the island." 2. Faceoff: "By a stroke of horrid bad luck, Cedric and Sofia are mistaken for another duo, who happen to be convicted criminals. After being tossed in another dimension’s prison system, the partners strive to prove their innocence while also attempting to determine who their doppelgangers are and what they really want." 3. Pandemonium: "After a tragic event leaves both Cedric and all of Enchancia shaken, in the midst of the overwhelming devastation and despair, a highly unexpected ally holds the key to restoring balance to the realm once more." 4. Rising Force: “The Conjuror’s Board has called in Cedric and Sofia to inform them about an evil version of themselves, who are not only wreaking havoc across other dimensions, but who have also destroyed several of their counterparts. 5. Masquerade of Evil: "During a Halloween character contest gone awry, Sofia begins acting very strangely and even rudely after donning garbs and wielding a scepter that belonged to none other than Maleficent. 6. The Tainted Ten: "A group known as the Tainted Ten infiltrate the Mystic Isles and start wreaking havoc that Cedric, Sofia, Chrysta, and several others have to halt." (Collab with some of my FF friends) [Wix site coming soon!]

7. Timberland: "After hearing reports of unusual magic in a tribe just south of Enchancia, Cedric, Sofia, and several others venture there to see what is causing the disturbance. While there, a case of mistaken identity puts Cedric in the difficult position of trying to aid and reason with a desperate tribal princess as well as placate his increasingly jealous and exasperated partner." 8. Cold Front: "Cedric feels like he’s losing his powers, thanks to a run-in with an old classmate named Malivia, who is known to practice Mischief Magic. General Info About Me:

2. I teach English and Spanish in the public school system.

3. I live in the South.

4. I usually won't message people first, but I have no problem responding to messages. I've spoken with some pretty amazing people over the last few years. :)

5. I'm a loner, which is why I am often writing. Don't get me wrong though. I LOVE being by myself! :D I will literally look for any excuse to get out of outings, parties, or anything dealing with people. ;)

6. Fun fact: I like to assign names to my readers/reviewers if I don't already know their actual names. I come up with names that I "feel" would suit them based on how they type or maybe even if they remind me of someone I know in real life. Just something fun to do. :)

7. As much as I enjoy writing, I do have to take breaks every now and then to keep from burning out. If you don't see me for a while, don't worry. I'm fine. Just needed a break. lol

8. I enjoy puzzles and brain teasers, and since mystery is my favorite genre, you will often see me trying to incorporate it into my stories.

9. One of my favorite YouTubers to watch is Peter Monn. He is a (drama/YouTube/general) commentary channel, but he also has a book channel, a review channel, a vlog channel, and a lifestyle/Peterisms channel where he discusses lessons he's learned in his life. He has a saying that has resonated a lot with me lately: "Be too much." I take that to mean, "Be more than you ever thought you could be, and more than anyone expected of you. Go above and beyond what you think you're capable of doing." He's always been inspirational to me, and I plan to honor him in the form of an OC at some point, who will be loosely based on him. Thanks for all the positive lessons and indirect encouragement, Peter. I've really enjoyed having you as part of my daily life. :)
