Someday we'll look back at these hard times and laugh." - Aerith Gainsborough, Final Fantasy VII As of Sunday, April 29th, Certain Demolitions, the most ambitious fanfiction I've ever written, is complete. My feelings about the completion can best be summed up in this song, which talks more about the process of singing, but still, the feelings are the same. ~xXx~ So we look at the giant list of fandoms up there, and I finally realize where all my free time went during high school. Anyways, hello and welcome to my profile. I'm not around as much as I used to be, since real life has basically taken over, but sometimes I get away from it long enough to write fanfics. Please enjoy your stay, and reviews are always welcome, especially on the newer fics. Some of my very first stories are still here, because this is the site that let me learn how to write. Bio: Penname: The All Real Numbers Symbol Nicknames: You can call me either T.A.R.N.S. or Numbers. Avatar: Yoshi! From the Super Mario series (the pic itself comes from Hyadain -Super Mario Western World) Sex: No thanks I meant meant sex as in biological makeup, you: Female Location: A state of constant Confusion...I mean, Indiana in the United States Age: Old Enough TV Shows/Animes/Movies: Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Danny Phantom, Tron, Tron: Legacy, Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Labyrinth, A Monster in Paris, Courage the Cowardly Dog... Music: Petra, TobyMac, Switchfoot , White Heart, Gavin DeGraw, Falling Up, Building 429, Third Eye Blind, Creed, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Owl City, MercyMe, Klaypex, Train, Coldplay, Skillet, and many more... If Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, and you want everyone visits/sees your profile to know, copy and paste this into your profile. The Three 'R's' of FFN: Reading, 'Riting, and Reviewing. Writing: I write for any fandom that interests me, as the list up top probably shows. Constructive criticism is welcome, and so are flames. If I've done something wrong in my stories, please tell me. I can't try to fix it if I don't know what it is. Reviews (me): Reviews are appreciated, along with constructive criticism, and flames make me laugh. (Sorry, but it's true. I should obviously take advice and/or insults from people who make an art of flaming and have never posted their own stories. I think not.) Reviews (you): Sometime very short, but I do want people to know that I am still there and still reading. I give constructive criticism when needed, but don't flame. Reading: ... this is a tough one. I read all sorts of things that interest me, even in places that I don't write stories for. As for reading, I like angst, drama, hurt/comfort, and of course the occasional humor story. I hate slash, m-preg, and gender bender fics. Beta Reader: Formerly I was one. That was before the world got bigger and life got busier. I'm going to list here the people I've beta-read for and the the stories I read. I wish FFN let us list these in our beta profiles, I'd like to keep track of them. First is the trip by HHSprincess, then Afferrare d'Amore by gillx, Afferrare d'Amore: Hai dimenticato Mai, also by gillx, Rest by The One and Only Lobster, and False Hope by Papersak. The most recent story is Future's Strawberries by Tuliharja. The Cannon Chronicles (Coming soon to bash Fandoms near you!) Not Like That! - (Section: Kingdom Hearts) Because the slash down there is a cancer that needs to be stopped. I love how one of my reviewers pointed out that Zexion and Demyx (the two of which make a very popular pairing down there) weren't even in the same game. Good call, KH Fanatic. Cannon trend: overabundant slash. Teenagers - (Section: Lord of the Rings) Becuase every decent writer is sick of the teenage OC Mary Sue who fall into Middle Earth and falls in love with Legolas. Sorry, that won't work. Cannon trend: Main Character X OC The White Pearl Mermaid - (Section: Mermaid Melody Pitchi Pitchi Pitch) How many white pearl mermaids are too many white pearl mermaids? And red ones aren't excused either. People, there's only seven seas. You can't all be princesses. Cannon trend: Not every OC can be a princess who teams up with the cannon characters. For the Love of Anima - (Section: Anima) If you ever browse this section of the site, you'll notice many stories that don't belong there. People, for the love of all things decent, DON'T put your stories there just because you were too lazy to go look for the proper section! Cannon trend: None. Love of Anima tells about numerous misposted stories. Mary Sue Chronicles: Kish's Revenge - (Section: Tokyo Mew Mew) Or, "How Not to Write a Tokyo Mew Mew Story." Tired of being stalked by relentless OCs who invariably fall in love with him, Kish decides to strike back. Cannon trend: Main Character X OC I don't mind people slightly altering canon. I can tolerate a lot of things. But when we start getting stupid trends, like all the slash in the KH section, I think someone needs to stand up and say something. That's where the Cannon Chronicles came from. Don't get me wrong, though. I am poking fun and trends, not people. If you see that one of these fics could parody yours, then you're writing in a trend. Quotes: "I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we pay the tab. -Caleb What are you, an insomniac? Who calls at five in the morning?- Beast Boy to Slade My imaginary friend thinks I need mental help. -t-shirt These people who say a story sucks, or is crap, are the people who are jealous of another's ability to write well.- Juana la Cliker-rooster A new computer virus is going around. The people are turbulent and changing, they seldom judge or determine right. - Alexander Hamilton Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both. - Benjamin Franklin They told me I have to stop taking 'You're Crazy' as a compliment. - T.A.R.N.S. That'll do it. - King Bumi (Avatar: The Last Airbender) If only I could fly through the air like a bird, or swim through the water as freely as a fish. Why do humans wish for such things? - From vol 1 of Anima I have something I have to protect, so I'll get stronger. - Kaito, from vol 4 of Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch From the moment I picked your book up until I laid it down, I was convulsed with laughter. Someday I intend reading it. - Groucho Marx A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere. -Groucho Marx All people are born alike - except Republicans and Democrats. -Groucho Marx This is a war and we must be the victors – there’s too much to lose if we fail. – Dracula the Musical We have four boxes with which to defend our freedom: the soapbox, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box. - Congressman Larry MacDonald Frodo: I can't do this, Sam. It is the best of times, it is the worst of times, it is the age of wisdom, it is the age of foolishness, it is the the epoch of belief, it is the epoch of incredulity, it is the season of Light, it is the Season of Darkness, it is the spring of hope, it is the winter of despair, we have everything before us, we have nothing before us... -Charles Dickens, from A Tale of Two Cities Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. - Ralph Waldo Emerson When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place. - Unknown Courage is being scared to death...and saddling up anyway. - John Wayne Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself... 'How did I get through all of that?' - Unknown Copy & Paste: If your profile is long, copy and paste this on it to make it even longer. It's obvious that flamers are really just immature people with nothing better to do. If you're mature enough to take a flame, ignore the flamer, and repress the urge to strike back, then copy and paste this in your profile, and add your name to the list: RoyalFanatic, Yoshizilla, Luigi Rules 512, The All Real Numbers Symbol, If you love Fanfiction.net, copy and paste this into your profile. Admitting you are weird means you are normal. Saying that your are normal is odd. If you admit that you are weird and like it, copy this onto your profile. Weird is good, strange is bad, and odd is when you don't know which to call someone. Weird is the same as different, which is the same as unique, so weird is good. If you are weird and proud of it, copy this onto your profile! Abortion is not a right! Abortion kills hundreds of living, yet unborn babies every year! If you're pro-life,copy and paste this into your profile! There is only one time abortion is acceptable, and that is when the mother's life is in danger. Other than that, no. I don't write slash! if you don't write slash, copy and paste this into your profile. If you think that the government should keep"One nation under God..."in the pledge of allegiance, copy and paste this into your profile. If you've ever been so obsessed with something that now everyone is scared of you because of its effects, copy this into your profile. If you know our society is moving in the wrong direction, copy and paste this into your profile. Mary had a little Lamb, His fleece was white as snow. And everywhere that Mary went, that Lamb was sure to go. He followed her to school each day, t'wasn't even in the rule. It made the children laugh and play, to have a Lamb at school. And then the rules all changed one day, illegal it became; To bring the Lamb of God to school, or even speak His name! Every day got worse and worse, and days turned into years. Instead of hearing children laugh, we heard gunshots and tears. What must we do to stop the crime that's in our schools today? Let's let the Lamb come back to school, and teach our kids to pray. LIKE A STAR series Puella Magi Madoka Magica may qualify as being my all-time favorite anime. It was both a brutal breakdown of the idea of girls in costumes beating evil into the ground with magic and a soaring story of hope that surpassed everything. There was enormous potential in it for crossovers as well, and I thought of the first one while sitting at work one day. For ease of collecting them as there are now six and the series did not actually get a name, or ID'ed as a series, until I started moving them over to Archive of Our Own (AO3), I'm going to list them here in the order that they go in, which isn't really anything other then the order they were written in (again, order wasn't established until AO3). All of them are stand alone at this time and you don't have to read all of them to understand the premise of the series. They can be enjoyed individually. I will also list the series that I am crossing PMMM over with. 1) Starry Heavens, crossover with the Thor movie 2) Walking on the Stars, crossover with Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch 3) Cosmic Love, crossover with Rurouni Kenshin 4) And We Pray, crossover with Tron 5) Written in the Stars, crossover with Captain America movie 6) Drops of Jupiter, crossover with House M.D. 7) Fearless (250 and Dark Stars), crossover with Houkago no Pleiades - Wish Upon the Pleiades xXx Now, A Bible verse: Jude 25: To God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. And there you have it: my profile. Thanks for reading and remember: a watched website never loads! Happy websurfing! L8R! -The All Real Numbers Symbol |
