To those of you who have sent emails, PMs, or reviews asking for my newish penname, I’m sorry for not responding. Everything ever created by EclipseKlutz has been closed for at least a year now, the email address included; I just forgot to tell anyone. Again, I’m sorry.

It has also been pointed out to me several times in the last thirteen or so months that it was a little rude to close down and vanish without explanation, so please allow me to compensate now. I created this account when I was ten years-old and quickly fell into a number of bad habits (e.g. posting without editing, never plotting, chronically discontinuing)—habits that I was slowly shedding and desperately wanted to disassociate from. Additionally, I had grown to really hate the alias “EclipseKlutz,” but since I’m always annoyed when other writers change their pennames, it wouldn’t be fair to change mine. Mostly, though, I had had this account too long; too many relatives and offline friends had found me and I was uncomfortable posting anything knowing that one of them would probably comment on it later. I still have no intention of telling them my new penname, hence why I won’t announce it here. It’s a bit selfish, yes, but I enjoy the freedom.

I should probably have mentioned earlier that I planned on packing up and moving on, but it’s a tad late to warn you now. EclipseKlutz is done, abandoned, etc.; the unfinished fics will remain unfinished here and, if they ever are updated, it will be to direct you to their rewrites—which will be in my new account.
