CSI
Sara Sidle: Gil, You know I love you. I feel I've loved you forever. Lately I haven't been feeling very well truth be told I'm tired out in the desert that night I realized something and I haven't been able to shake it. Since my father died I've spent almost my entire life with ghost we've been like close friends and out there in the desert it occurred to me that it was time for me to bury them I can't do that here. I'm so sorry. No matter how hard i try to fight it off I'm left with the feeling that i have to go. I have no idea where I'm going but I know I have to do this it if don't I'm afraid I'll self destruct and worst you'll be there to see it happen. Be safe. Know that I try very hard to stay. Know that you are my one and only. I will miss you with every beat of my heart. Our life together was the only home I ever really had I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love you... I always will. Goodbye.
Sara Sidle: Since when are you interested in beauty?
Gil Grissom: Since i met you.
Gil Grissom: What we are never changes but who we are never stops changing.
Sara Sidle: You've always been a little more than a boss to me. Why do you think i moved to Vegas.
Gil Grissom: People lie, the evidence doesn't lie.
Sara Sidle: I wish i was like you Grissom, I wish i didn't feel anything.
Sara Sidle: Hodges, don't you know that grey hair can be very attractive.
Sara Sidle: By the time you figure it out it really could be too late.
Sara: Do you want to sleep with me?
Grissom: Did you just say what I think you said?
Sara: That way when I wake up in the middle of the night, in a cold sweat, you can tell me it's nothing, it's just empathy.
Sara: Wouldn't you, if you were married to Mrs. Roper?
Grissom:I don't even have to turn around. Sara Sidle.
Sara: That's me.
Doctor Who:
The Doctor: You've seen how dangerous it is - do you wanna go home?
Rose Tyler: I dunno... I want... Oh, can you smell chips?
The Doctor: Yeah!
[laughs]
The Doctor: Yeah!
Rose Tyler: I want chips.
The Doctor: Me too!
Rose Tyler: Right then, before you get me back in that box - chips it is - and you can pay.
The Doctor: No money.
Rose Tyler: What sort of date are you? Come on then, tight wad, chips are on me... we've only got five billion years till the shops close!
The Doctor: You think it'll last forever, the people and cars and concrete. But it won't. One day it's all gone, even the sky. My planet's gone. It's dead. It burned like the Earth. It's rocks and dust before its time.
Rose Tyler: What happened?
The Doctor: There was a war, and we lost.
Rose Tyler: A war with who?
[the Doctor doesn't answer]
Rose Tyler: What about your people?
The Doctor: I'm a Time Lord. I'm the last of them. They're all gone. I'm the only survivor. I'm left travelling on my own because there's no-one else.
Rose Tyler: There's me.
The Doctor: [looking at Rose] I'm so glad I met you.
Rose Tyler: Me too.
Rose Tyler: He will be there when you need him. That's the way it gotta be.
Madame Du Pompadour: It is the way that has always been. The monster and the doctor. It seems you cannot have one without the other.
Rose Tyler: [crying] I... I love you.
The Doctor: [with a weak smile] Quite right too.
[pause]
The Doctor: And I suppose... if it's my last chance to say it... Rose Tyler...
[fades away]
The Doctor: You're never gonna see her again, your own mother!
Rose Tyler: I made my choice a long time ago. I'm never leaving you. Now what can I do to help?
The Doctor: [the Doctor is transmitting his image from the TARDIS] Here you are, living a life day after day. The one adventure I can never have.
Rose Tyler: [crying] Am I ever going to see you again?
The Doctor: You can't.
Rose Tyler: What are you going to do?
The Doctor: I've got the TARDIS. Same old life. The last of the Time Lords.
Rose Tyler: On your own?
[the Doctor nods]
Rose Tyler: Can't you come through properly?
The Doctor: Then the whole thing would fracture. The two universes would collapse.
Rose Tyler: So?
Rose Tyler: [the Doctor appears in from of Rose in a translucent form] Where are you?
The Doctor: Inside the TARDIS. There's one tiny little gap in the universe left, just about to close. And it takes a lot of power to send this projection. I'm in orbit around a supernova.
[smiling weakly]
The Doctor: I'm burning up a sun just to say good bye.
Rose: Oh, I love this! Can I just say, traveling with you... I love it.
The Doctor: Me too
Rose Tyler: I've been to the year five million, but this, this is really seeing the future- you just leave us behind! Is that what you're going to do to me?
The Doctor: No. Not you.
Rose Tyler: But, Sarah Jane- you were that close to her once, and now... you never even mention her. Why not?
The Doctor: I don't age. I regenerate. But humans decay. You wither and you die. Imagine watching that happen to someone you...
Rose Tyler: What, Doctor?
The Doctor: You can spend the rest of your life with me. But I can't spend the rest of mine with you. I have to live on, alone. That's the curse of the Timelords
Rose Tyler: What do I do? Do I stay with him?
Sarah Jane Smith: Yes, some things are worth getting your heart broken for.
Rose Tyler: Planet Earth. This is where I was born. And this is where I died. For the first nineteen years of my life nothing happened. Nothing at all. Not ever. And then I met a man called The Doctor. A man who could change his face. And he took me away from home in his magical machine. He showed me the whole of time and space. I thought it would never end. That's what I thought. But then came the Army of Ghosts, then came Torchwood and the war. And that's when it all ended. This is the story of how I died.
Rose Tyler: The first nineteen years of my life, nothing happened. Nothing at all, not ever. And then I met a man called the Doctor. A man who could change his face. He took me away from home in his magical machine. He showed me the whole of time and space. I thought it would never end
Rose: Can you build another Tardis?
The Doctor: They were grown, not built. And with my home planet gone... we're kind of stuck
Rose: Well, it could be worse; this lot said they'd give us a lift.
The Doctor: And then what?
Rose: I don't know. Find a planet, get a job, live a life, same as the rest of the universe.
The Doctor: I'll have to settle down. With a house or something - a proper house with... with, with doors and things - carpets! Me! Living in a house!... Now that, that - that is terrifying.
Rose: You'd have to get a mortgage!
The Doctor: No!
Rose: Oh yes!
The Doctor: No, I'm dying, that's it, it is all over.
Rose: What about me? I'd have to get one too!
[pause]
Rose: I don't know, we could have the same one, we could both... I don't know, share... or not. Whatever. I don't know, all sorts of...
The Doctor: Anyway
Rose: We'll see
The Doctor: [pause] I promised Jackie I'd always take you back home
Rose: Everyone leaves home in the end.
The Doctor: Not to end up stuck here.
Rose: Yeah, but stuck with you - that's not so bad.
The Doctor: Yeah?
Rose: Yes.
Rose: It said I would die in battle.
The Doctor: Then it lied.
The Doctor: [hologram, speaking towards the console] This is Emergency Programme One. Rose, now listen, this is important. If this message is activated, then it can only mean one thing: we must be in danger, and I mean fatal. I'm dead, or about to die any second with no chance of escape.
Rose Tyler: No!
The Doctor: And that's OK, I hope it's a good death. But I promised to look after you, and that's what I'm doin'. The TARDIS is takin' you home.
Rose Tyler: I won't let you.
The Doctor: And I bet you're fussing and moaning now, typical. But hold on, and just listen a bit more. The TARDIS can never return for me. Emergency Programme One means I'm facing an enemy that should never get their hands on this machine. So this is what you should do: let the TARDIS die. Just let this old box gather dust. No one can open it, no one will even notice it. Let it become a strange little thing standing on a street corner. And over the years, the world will move on, and the box will be buried. And if you wanna remember me, then you can do one thing. That's all, one thing.
The Doctor: [hologram turns to face Rose, and with a full voice] Have a good life. Do that for me, Rose. Have a fantastic life.
The Doctor: What have you done?
Rose Tyler: I looked into the TARDIS and the TARDIS looked into me.
The Doctor: You looked into the time vortex, Rose, nobody is supposed to see that!
Emperor Dalek: This is the abomination!
Dalek: Exterminate!
[Dalek shoots at her with its laser, but Rose lifts up her hand and stops it, reversing it back into the Dalek, the Doctor looks on in surprise]
Rose Tyler: I am the Bad Wolf. I create myself. I take the words...
[Rose lifts her hand and takes the words from the Bad Wolf Corporation sign]
Rose Tyler: ...I scatter them, in time and space.
[the words float off away from them]
Rose Tyler: A message, to lead myself here.
The Doctor: Rose, you've got to stop this, you've got to stop this now! You've the entire vortex running through you're head, you're gonna burn!
Rose Tyler: I want you safe, my Doctor. Protected from the false God.
Emperor Dalek: You cannot hurt me. I am immortal.
Rose Tyler: You are tiny. I can see the whole of time and space, every single atom of your existence, and I divide them.
[Rose lifts her hand again, the Dalek that tried to shoot her disappears in an explosion of golden dust]
Rose Tyler: Everything must come to dust. All things, everything dies.
Rose Tyler: The time war ends.
Emperor Dalek: I will not die! I cannot diieee!
[we see Rose's eyes light up, and the Dalek Emperor and his entire fleet disappear in an explosion of golden dust]
The Doctor: Rose, you've done it, now stop.
[Rose stares straight ahead]
The Doctor: Just let go.
Rose Tyler: How can I let go of this? I bring life.
[we see Jack start breathing again and open his eyes]
The Doctor: But this is wrong! You can't control life and death!
Rose Tyler: But I can. The sun and the moon, the day and night... but why do they hurt?
[she is crying]
The Doctor: The power's gonna kill you and it's my fault!
Rose Tyler: I can see everything... all that is... all that was... all that ever could be.
The Doctor: [stands up] But that's what *I* see. All the time. And doesn't it drive you mad?
Rose Tyler: [Rose nods, barely able to speak] My head...
The Doctor: Come here.
Rose Tyler: ...is killing me.
The Doctor: I think you need a Doctor.
[He leans down and kisses her, and the golden light transfers from her to him through their lips]
The Doctor: Rose Tyler. I was gonna take you to so many places. Barcelona. Not the city Barcelona, the planet Barcelona. You'll love it, fantastic place, they've got dogs with no noses!
[laughs]
The Doctor: Imagine how many times a day you end up telling that joke, and it's still funny!
Rose Tyler: Then, why can't we go?
The Doctor: Maybe you will, and maybe I will, but not like this.
Rose Tyler: [standing up] You're not making sense.
The Doctor: I might never make sense again! I might have two heads! Or no head! Imagine me with no head - and don't say that's an improvement.
[Rose smiles]
The Doctor: But it's a bit dodgy, this process.
[her smile fades]
The Doctor: You never know what you're gonna end up with.
[a flash of light and the Doctor doubles over in pain]
Rose Tyler: Doctor!
The Doctor: Stay away!
Rose Tyler: Doctor, tell me what's going on.
The Doctor: I absorbed all the energy of the time vortex and no one's meant to do that. Every cell in my body's dying.
Rose Tyler: Can't you do something?
The Doctor: Yeah, I'm doing it now... Time Lords have this little trick, it's sort of a way of cheating death, except, it means I'm gonna change. And I'm not gonna see you again, not like this, not with this daft old face. And before I go...
Rose Tyler: Don't say that!
The Doctor: Rose, before I go I just wanna tell you - you were fantastic... absolutely fantastic... and d'you know what?
[Rose shakes her head]
The Doctor: So was I.
[they both smile at each other for the last time before he is engulfed in light]
The Doctor: There's something in the air, there's something coming.
Rose: What?
[fireworks explode overhead]
The Doctor: A storm's approaching.
Grey's Anatomy:
At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don’t keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That’s how we’re made. So, you can waste your lives drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them.
There don’t have to be harps playing or birds singing or pose petals falling from the sky… And there are definitely days when the romance is dead. But if you look around, things are pretty amazing. So stop for a second. Enjoy the beauty. Feel the magic. Drink it in. ‘Cause it won’t last forever. The romance will fade. Things will happen. People will change. Love will die. But… maybe not today.
"As soon as we get out of here, I’m getting the hell away from Seattle Grace Mercy Death!"
Did you say it? I love you. I dont ever want to live without you. You changed my life. Did you say it? Make a plan? Set a goal? Work toward it? But every now and then drink it in. Cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow”
