![]() Author has written 7 stories for Naruto, Avengers, and Hetalia - Axis Powers. Hello, Internet. I'm Anbu-chan. Let me introduce myself. Anyone who has been following me and my writing over the years would know me as a teenage girl who’s got a bad case of wanderlust and a slight (read: unhealthy) obsession with various fandoms. A lot has changed since then. I’ve been on this site for years now, and as I’ve matured, so have my tastes in stories and my writing style as well. I’m a young woman now, who has a place in her heart for a story that made her childhood. Naruto is part of what made me who I am, and it will be the main focus of all the material I post in the future on this website. I used to have very superficial information about myself posted here, things like like my favorite foods and my hobbies. Instead, I’d rather impart information that might give my readers a better sense of who I am, not just the things that I enjoy. I want to make a change in this world, and I plan to expand more on the volunteer work I already do. I love my family and friends, and I’m a fortunate person to have so many wonderful people in my life. I want to be successful, publish at least one book and leave this life well-traveled, with laugh lines and too many stories to count on a dozen hands. Thank you for your time. Enjoy what bits of my heart and soul I’ve posted on this website. Status: active (#) inactive ( ) Updates UPDATE (6/6/20) Hi everyone, and what a year it has already been. Quarantine has given me opportunities to write, which you all will see soon. Be patient, I know it has been a full year for some of my more popular works. I have added Anbu-chan's Pandemic Reading List, if anyone is interested give these stories a whirl. See you all soon and stay safe and healthy. UPDATE (1/16/20) Welcome to the new decade, my friends and readers. I've been a busy bee these past few months, but I'm hoping Muse will help me put out ore chapters for you people. My main focuses will be A Ghost and The Barista, but do keep an eye out for other things as well. Lots of love to you all, and a happy New Year. :) UPDATE (5/29/19) and the semester is over, and onto a new chapter of my life. This is an odd summer. I'm a bit in limbo as I am changing unis and I happen to have a bad injury that has kept me mostly bedridden as I search for what it is I'm dealing with exactly, so that is good for all of you, not so good for me. I'll be focusing on A Ghost and The Barista, while updating my less serious works intermittently. It Will Rain is disgustingly popular and I'm okay with that. I'm still on the fence about my Hetalia work, but we'll see. Some things are better read than when attempting to write them yourself. UPDATE (3/23/19) Hello everyone, I have been a busy bee this month. Spring is the time of change, I suppose. I have rewritten the entirety of A Ghost, and the second chapter has been uploaded, exactly on time with my story schedule, IT IS A MIRACLE. I have finally caved and indulged in my guilty pleasure, a SakuaxAvengers story that will loosely follow the MCU called It Will Rain. That one much like SnSwill be very relaxed and I will update at my own leisure. Look for more stories, as I am gearing up for more intense stories and plotlines. For all of my Hobbit fans, the status of Follow Me Home has changed from hiatus to discontinued. I realize that will disappoint some people, but like I said in my A/N, I do not have the time to dedicate to a story I haven't thought of in years. UPDATE (3/13/19) more from Sake and Shōchū and an updated version of A Ghost! I hope you all like the direction I’ve taken it in, a far cry from it’s original theme and feel. I’m seriously looking to finish that story up within the next few months, and move onto other projects. The Barista is about half way done! There is an end in sight, although it pains me to say that. Also, how do people feel about a Marvel/Sakura x-over? ;) UPDATE (2/20/19) formerly known as Alcohol Influences on my account, I introduce you all to Sake and Shōchū, my newest story and most recent inspiration! Go check it out ;) I've also done some spring cleaning on my bio website, you'll find updates everywhere. Expect more content, and soon, because I am on a roll. UPDATE (2/18/19) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! wow! another year and I'm still writing :) expect to see more of The Barista. Maybe ole Waterloo will catch my attention again. I just wanted to let you lovelies know, I am alive and well. UPDATE (11/13/18) hello everyone I have updated The Barista and with it comes massive plot development! I'm excited. I have a short holiday break coming up, where I'll hopefully be writing plenty, so keep your eyes out for more content. I hope everyone's year is coming to a happy conclusion, as that time is once again drawing near! I was thinking of eventually deleting the old updates, but I kind of like them, they show character growth (I'm a sentimental old lady these days). A new story may come out, keep your eyes peeled. UPDATE (10/22/18) hi everyone it's spooky time. for all of you who check this, The Barista has been updated completely, and the new chapter will come out soon. I will finally be closing the poll, so we may all see the results and that I may start up on new story ideas, if I'm feeling up to it. I also plan to rewrite A Ghost because I love the story but still don't like where it's going and I can't let it go. Things are going well for me as of right now, but I am busy. I'm thankful for all the chances I still get to write, so keep your eyes peeled for new content! Approximate update schedule* A Ghost in Waterloo Station: June 30th It Will Rain: freestyle updating! On Higher Ground: freestyle updating! Sake and Shōchū: freestyle updating! The Barista: June 28th *This is not 100% accurate. I might update sooner, I might update later- it's simply a ballpark estimate. Current Stories: A Ghost in Waterloo Station. Summary: "Thank you for traveling with The Ghost in Waterloo Station, where the everyday world's your point of departure, but the place of arrival is never the shore you started from!" Sakura gasped as she stepped on the platform. When she got on the train, she had no intention of arriving in another world. "Damn," she muttered. "I don't think I'm in London anymore..." fantasy!AU, multixsaku Wow. This story has taken me through every stage as a writer. I started it a long time ago, and it is my first fanfiction. But, now it has been rewritten and I am happy with were it is, finally. Now filled with many more hints and references to Edō period folklore and tradition, as well as general Japanese culture, you'll find it has more depth, more of the supernatural and a more interesting plot. New characters have come to play, and more will join... It Will Rain. Summary: Sakura finds herself in the midst of New York City with no choice but to keep fighting on. Some days, all you can do is let it rain. This story is my first official cross-over on this site, although I've read and written plenty of my own already. This is a guilty pleasure story, a what-if Sakura was just thrown into the MCU and it doesn't really have a set plan at the moment. That may change, but only time will tell. Sake and Shōchū. Summary: "What the hell am I doing?" She slurred over her sake cup. "I did not waste so many years of my life trying to surpass Tsunade only to become a lonely housewife while Sasuke gallivants across the countries singing the songs of his angst!" A chance encounter over sake and shōchū has Sakura taking her future into her own hands, and Kakashi is somehow dragged along for the ride. This story has been on my radar for SO long, and I never got to it. It will be a very low key, happy and fluffy romance. No angst, no real plot. Just a slice of life fic to make you feel good, and that's it. This story will be updated when I have the inspiration. The Barista. Summary: Barista: bəˈrēstə,bəˈrɪstə/ (n.) a person whose job involves preparing and serving different types of coffee. Sakura couldn't decide what she liked more, the coffee or her eccentric customers. AU; MultiSaku This story has seen me through every stage of my life for the past four years! that's crazy to think about to me, I can't wrap my head around it just yet. It has been entirely rewritten the summer of 2018, and what you see now is a fully fleshed out version of what I wanted this story to be when I first started writing with no plot in mind. Notes of what has changed and my general chapter notes can be found in the bottom section of my A/Ns. Thanks for staying with me through this journey! For the Heart. Summary: Stories to soothe an aching heart. MultixSaku one-shots This set of stories got me through a tough time where writing was the only feasible outlet, and therefore, it has a special place in my heart. Some of the plots from this story might become real stories, others will be drabbles. Enjoy them. :) Follow Me Home. Summary: Thorin Oakenshield's birthright is The Lonely Mountain. My name is Eleniel Alunfraad, and my birthright lies within that mountain. I am a mighty Dragon Rider, and Smaug is my dragon. KilixOCxFili (8/16/18) ON HAITUS INDEFINITELY AS OF 3/23/19 DISCONTINUED. * For any inquiries: I do not put any of my discontinued stories up for adoption. Chapter Progress: The Barista- (chapter 17) 35% complete A Ghost in Waterloo Station- (chapter 3) 10% complete Upcoming Story Ideas: Naruto: Cat Got Your Tongue?: Cat summons were more of an Uchiha thing, but that didn't stop Sakura from signing her name in the scroll she came across in Ame. But she quickly noticed something was weird about these cats. They were strikingly familiar and bore resemblance to dead members of a terrorist group long gone. (Just your totally cliché Akatsuki become cats plot that everyone's used a thousand times, but do I care?) AkaxSaku. Seventh Samurai: The Haruno Family was well-known for having raised six generations of loyal and strong samurai. When Kizashi and Mebuki of the Haruno Clan had a daughter with hair as pink as cherry blossoms, their hopes of continuing the family tradition were dashed. But Sakura wasn't one to follow rules; just because she was born a woman didn't mean she couldn't be a samurai. AU, Sakura-centric, MultixSaku Something in the Mist: Sakura was a nobody. She had resigned herself to that fate. That was, until memories of bridges and old legends and reality began to blend. The ghost of Zabuza Momochi, haunting her, urging her on to take his title as one of the Seven Swordsmen. To take on and wield his famous blade, Kubikiribocho. She knew what had to be done. AU, Sakura-centric, MultixSaku, (possible ChojuroxSaku) You Only Live Twice: When Sakura awoke, it wasn't to the sound of the white Zetsu army and the blood red moon hanging low in the sky. No, it was the ceiling of her room in Konoha. When she was twelve. It would appear Obito had made some minor miscalculations of his space-time jutsu. Perhaps living again wouldn't be so bad if she could save the ones she loved. Time-travel AU; Sakura-centric. Ragtime: The 1920's was a glamourous, but terrifying time as Sakura was coming to learn. Especially with the sophisticated and dangerous new lifestyle she had somehow gotten herself into. That included being part of the most notorious speakeasy in the five major countries: the Akatsuki. AU, AkaxSaku The Archives: The files shook in Sakura's trembling hands. It fell to the floor with a loud thud in the quiet bowels of Konoha's restricted archives. She pressed her hands to her mouth, eyes wide and focused on the name on the file. Uchiha Itachi. Sakura had just uncovered something she really shouldn't have, and as she looked at the thousands of similar files around her, she reckoned there was a lot more she didn't know about Konohagakure, her precious village. She paled. Sakura-centric, Semi-AU, MultixSaku Wildfire: Inevitably, the chakra nature of a shinobi indisputably affects the course of their life. Life is very different in a world where a pink haired girl no longer has the healing nature of a medic, but a chakra nature blazing like wildfire. AU, Sakura-centric, MultixSaku New: On Higher Ground: When she dances, she leaves the world behind, and they can only dream of where she goes. AU Team7xSaku, ballerina!Sakura Cross-overs: Beyond Death's Dance: She had always figured if she died in battle, she would wait on the other side for her loved ones to someday join her. When Sakura finally succumbed to death's dance, what she found on the other side was not what she had been expecting. Shinigami were supposedly a myth, but sometimes seeing is believing. NarutoXBleach, AU, Sakura-centric/MultixSaku. Hidden Fire: The world knew about ninjas, and how they were tied to Japan, but no one knew about the Elemental nations. Shrouded in mystery, legend, and a magical barrier of chakra, the Elemental nations were hesitant to become part of the world, fearing they'd be persecuted for the rare ability to use chakra. But a certain nation with hair as pink as cherry blossoms and a spirit much like fire was unwilling to hide anymore. The world was in for a surprise. Sakura-centric, NarutoXHetalia, AU, MultixSaku, *name subject to change. Across the Ocean Blue: And really, it should've been obvious it was a bad idea to let Naruto on a boat. Because, bad luck dogged Team Kakashi everywhere they went. A simple mission to deliver the Mizukage a scroll turns sour when an unusually seasonal storm hits and sends the members of Team 7's world into turmoil. In hindsight, Sakura should've never agreed to take that mission, she thought, as she stared at the boat The Going Merry and it's members who had just rescued her. NarutoXOnePiece, MultixSaku The Seamstress: The Queen's Watchdog and his butler are on the prowl. Criminals, both new and old, are popping up across the country, all assassinated, and it's the job of Earl Phantomhive to find the person behind these vigilante murders. And with growing trepidation, he is finding that these deaths all have something to do with a strange pink haired seamstress in London. NarutoXKuroshitsuji/BlackButler, MultixSaku, Post Fourth Shinobi War, implied NaruSakuSasu Anbu-chan's Quarantine 2020 Reading List: A collection of my favorite stories on this website over the course of my time here. Some are very old and have likely been abandoned, while some are complete and some are being written as you read this. I know these are hard times and everyone is adjusting to change, so I figured I would share some of the stories that have made me laugh, cry and changed my experience as a reader. Enjoy.
