Sakura blinked at the clock across the room, startled for a moment that it wasn't the room she was used to waking up in; it was only 6:14am. Itachi must be up too becasue she could hear him in the kitchen, the cupboard being opened and closed with more force than she expected of the quiet man. That was probably why she was awake right now, not used to sleeping in an apartment with other people in it.
Her and Kisame's first date had gone well, really well actually. She had never considered herself someone who would sleep with someone on a first date, not that she had a problem with that, but the circumstances were different than usual and it kind of just happened. They had known each other for so long and she had been waiting for that moment, never knowing if it would happen, for what felt like an eternity. It had just felt right. She glanced over to him, his face peaceful in sleep, tattooed chest rising and falling evenly.
She felt wide awake now, despite the early hour, and it seemed like Itachi wasn't going to stop rifling through the kitchen so she untangled herself from the bed and found one of Kisame's shirts on the ground. It was long on her, obviously, and fit her like a dress. Before she left the room, she slipped on her underwear as well.
To her surprise, and embarrassment, it was not Itachi making all that noise in the kitchen. As soon as she had closed the door to the bedroom she realized that there were two extra people in the living room. Kakuzu was seated on one of the couches with Itachi pouring over a mess of papers, both of whom looked up when she stepped out of the room, while Hidan was searching fervently through the kitchen.
"Where the fuck do you keep your god damn coffee?" He grumbled. He turned toward Itachi when he didn't answer, finally noticing that she was standing there in Kisame's shirt, very obviously just spent the night.
"Ho-ly shit." Hidan leered at her, looking her up and down. Her face was now beat red. It wasn't like they were going to keep it a secret, but she didn't exactly plan on anyone finding out like this. "So you guys finally hooked up? Took you long enough!"
Kakuzu looked away first, a small smirk tugging at his scars as continued to sort through the papers. Itachi seemed mortified on her behalf and looked very uncomfortable, but offered a weak smile of pity.
Sakura crossed her arms, deciding that a change of topic would mollify the situation. "What are you two doing here so early anyway?"
"Itachi here is helping us cook the books or something," Hidan said before anyone else could answer, already back to looking for the coffee. The kitchen was becoming more and more of a mess since he didn't seem to care to put anything back where he found it.
"I run a perfectly legal business, Sakura," Kakuzu ground out, glaring at the back of Hidan's head. "He's just an idiot who doesn't understand taxes."
"Okay, well," Sakura said, shifting on her feet "I'll leave you to it." She made a bee-line to the bathroom and locked the door. "Of course, the one night I stay over someone has to be here," Sakura grumbled as she turned the shower on, stripping off her clothes. "Should have put my pants back on."
It was only after she was clean and more awake that she realized she would have to walk back across the living room in either just a towel or she would have to put on her dirty clothes again, which was still not a lot of coverage.
"Whatever," she grumbled to herself, "they pretty much just saw me naked anyways." The towel she found was large enough to go down to her knees at least.
Hidan had finally found the coffee and was sitting with a steaming mug in his hands on the couch opposite the other two men. As she suspected, he didn't look like he was being very helpful. Sakura attempted to not look too embarrassed and walked briskly back to Kisame's. Just as she was about to open the door, Hidan wolf whistled. She didn't even dignify him with a glare before shutting the door.
"I'm guessing we have company?" Kisame asked groggily.
"Yup." Sakura threw the towel on the floor and snuggled back against Kisame under the covers.
"Why?" Kisame wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer. This was all very strange to her, to think she was already this comfortable. It didn't feel like a new relationship. It felt like this was already normal, they had apparently skipped over any awkwardness that she had expected.
"Itachi is helping Kakuzu with his buissness taxes," she replied. "Although Hidan seems to think they're doing something illegal. Said they were cooking the books'."
"I don't ask questions," Kisame sighed sleepily, still not fully awake. Sakura decided that was probably the best policy, she didn't want to know. All she knew was that she was happy.

A/N: Well, I did it. I finished it. It only took five years. I really appreciate all of the reviews and feedback! I have some extras that I'll post sometime soon, just stuff that never made it into the story.
