I finally caught up! I love fantasy and have a weak spot for Yokai stories. The fact that you’ve written one, and with Sakura as the main character is godsend! I’m super excited to see how this story plays out. Like what’s gonna happen during the trial, what’s Madera up to (and for that matter WHAT is he?), what’s Sasori up to back in Konoha, and who is kidnapping summoners?
I can’t wait for the next update!

I think it would be cool if you added slash to the mix! Like I can already see their friendship and bonds turning strong and it wouldn’t feel unusual if it evolved further.

Wow this was a busy chapter! It was so interesting seeing into RCMM. You’ve definitely surprised me with who was at the meeting and their roles! But it totally fits each character. I like how you’re fleshing them all out, it’s creating depth so people aren’t just inherently good or bad. And woah is that an Akatsuki meeting going on? I love Deidara and Sasori. Especially Sasori’s interactions with his grandma and Sakura, I hope he ends off better than he did in the canon storyline.

Just finished rereading this whole fic. The trial had me on the edge of my seat and I can't wait to see what the prosecution has in store. Also, I've been trying to guess what magical being the Uchihas might be and my gut says dragon since they are associated with fire and the latest description of them being predators, but that doesn't necessarily explain their eyes or ability to calm. Excited for that big reveal as well. I'm wondering if you're going to include Sasuke in the mix as an ally and friend to everyone but we'll just have to wait and see. I also like the complexity you put in Sakura's relationship with her parents. Authors often make parents, either unwaveringly supportive, abusive and horrible all the way through or dead. I like that Sakura's parents are not the best people but their actions have reasons and they care in some form, even if that care ends up hurting their daughter. It's very intriguing to read about. Love your work!
