Let's see how much do I want y'all to know, hum. Well, I live in North Central Texas. I am 42 and I love to write. I have two beautiful, neurotic cats.

I try to go by finlaure on every board I am on. Finlaure means golden hair in Tolkien, but now a days it is mostly grey.

I LOVE NCIS. I am a Big time GAbby shipper and have now become addicted to TIBBS!! (now I more of just a Tibbs)

I also LOVE Star Trek Voyager and my first three ffn stories were about that wonderful future universe. I am a member of Vambie. I am a die hard JCer and can not stand the thought of C7.

I have also started to Really Love Criminal Minds. The show itself intrigues me and several of the stars make me, well, droool.

I love to give reviews and hope that the writers love getting them as well. I will always try to keep any 'negative critisim' to private mail. I understand that English is not the universal language. I also understand, more than most, that spelling can be very hard. I have severe dyslexia and when I am tired or hurried I really start to mess up despite all of the extra classes and training I have had in my life. I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism, but I don't write for newspapers anymore. I now prefer to keep my writing for my fanfics and for my poetry. At least for now. There may be a book somewhere down the line.

If I was to have one motto it would be, "Always leave them laughing, then they will remember you with a smile." :)

Hopefully you will like my stories enough to leave me some sort of review. So enough about me, I'm off to read more of your wonderful stories.

09/27/09 -- As a 39 year old adult I fail to understand why some people find it so necessary to leave hurtful reviews on peoples stories. I guess it is a wonderful thing that I first and foremost write for my own enjoyment. I also am so glad that I can realize that some people never matured past the 7th grade.

Sept. 13, 2010 -- Now I am fourty and still living in Texas, in the United States. I have no idea why it says I am from Canada. I have nothing against Canada. I have several friends in Canada. But I live in the United States. Can someone tell me how to change the status please

Howdy from the last day of 2012!! SO happy to be here, because so many doomsday people that said we wouldn't make it to this point.

So the Big point of me updating my profile is to say that I am doing an overhaul of my stories. Some are going to be taken down and worked on and then put back up. Some are going to be actually finished! and sadly one or two might go into permant hiatus, or at least extreme vacation to the bottom of the finish list.

The Blue Pirate will have Chapter 7 posted tomorrow and then Chapter 8 at the first of Feb. I will not "burn myself out" again by posting every week, so the quality can remain in the story that I have come to love so very much.

I will post a note with every story I take down as to what I have decided to do with it. I can already tell you that both "chapters" of "Arms of Angels" will be taken down and reworked and posted together, with the third chapter FINISHED!!!

"Operation Burt" is one of few that will at the very end of the list to complete.

Your comments would be greatly welcome, and might even light a new spark under an old story.

I will be "driving" the 'crack-van' and posting The Sentinel stories, mostly crossovers with NCIS, all of Jan. I hope that will be fun.
