That was a beautiful story the moments of reflection delicately written but not lacking in emotion for that. The fact it didn't fall into the trap of becoming a cliche Tony 'saving' Kathryn and living happily ever after, shows the real strengths of the piece.

"Learn from her,Tony. Learn from the experience and move on." I've always thought you had Gibbs' and Tony's "voices" spot on, but reading these words I was amazed at how similar they were to what Gibbs told Tony at the end of Newborn King...which aired over a year after you posted this!

I think I must have avoided reading this fic earlier because I kind of hated Guilty Pleasure. Undercover-Tony looked like an OOC fool in that ep. I much prefer your fic.

Oh and DiNozzo's Rule #98, "Fuck Rule No. 3"? Love it!

I like this story. I like that it takes a weakness and morphs it into a strength. I like that Tony cares about Kathryn and that she responds to it. The ending made me sad, but it made sense. Good story.
