Author has written 37 stories for NCIS, Transformers, Star Trek: 2009, Person of Interest, and Almost Human. 28 February 2017 Muwhaaa! I'm back! After an embarrassingly long hiatus, I have unearthed myself from beneath my professional designation crater. Translation: I spent the last 30 months dealing with professional obligations that left me zero time to sleep, let alone write. But I'm back, now fully securities-licesnsed (go me!) and ready to write again. I've got some really amusing ideas rolling around my head, a few of which might actually make it to my keyboard. To any of you who left a comment or sent a message in the last two years, I am truly, truly sorry I haven't replied. I resolve to a do a better job now that I can think clearly. Please know I appreciated the kind words more than you can imagine and feel terribly that I haven't acknowledged them. Take this small note as my undying thanks. For anyone else, feel free to leave a comment or shoot me a message. I don't bite, I promise. At least...not hard. ;-) 27 March 2014 Well, hello thar! I figured I should I'm a nerd. I proudly admit it. And I'm a bit a nut with a terribly overactive imagination, an inability to sleep more than four hours a night, and a love for just about anything and everything. I love to learn, I love to think, and I love to be challenged. I also love to read and write (obviously) and I'm constantly inspired by the world around me. Sometimes it's a major event; other times, my inspiration comes from something completely trivial. I love character development and layering in stories. I love plot. I love subtlety. I'm a humor and crack writer who specializes in procedurals but will occasionally take a crack at angst. Whatever your poison, I think there's a bit of something for everyone here. I don't shy away from AU, crossovers or plain canon fics. Whichever you choose, I hope you find something you can enjoy here. It's by no means professional (this is for now and always will be a hobby to me; I have no grand desire to write for a living), but it's the best I can do. However, be warned - the work gets progressively rougher as you work your way down the list of my stories. Like, really cringe-worthy, I-can't-believe-I-wrote-AND-POSTED-that, rough. Just sayin'. So, thanks for stopping by and wasting five minutes of your life you'll never get back reading my profile. If you're so inclined, drop me a PM or whatever if you have questions. Otherwise, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. Awesome betas are awesome. Seriously. For all my Star Trek stories, mine is Livejournal's Wicked Jade. I owe her oodles upon oodles of thanks for both holding my hand as my muses have decided they want to try character-driven pieces and angst (most often times together), and for putting up with my Kirk-like personality in general. I couldn't do it without you my dear, so thank you. Also, if you all love good fic and you're into slash, go check her stuff out. She makes me look like a clueless noob. Yanno? Find someone better and your shit won't suck is what I've discovered. ;) So, I think I've actually managed to create a 'verse with this whole Star Trek cop AU. I was told by a good friend that I should put this running list thingy here on my profile so I don't confuse y'all. I hope it helps, and expect this to get added to as I write more AU stories. As a note, I didn't write any of these fics in sequential order, and they certainly weren't posted that way, either. I can't do linear writing. It's just not me. But anyway, here's the sequential list for the cop!verse as of right now. 1. Every Fifteen Minutes Also, thanks to the amazing and awesome Kilala10 over on Livejournal, the Cop!verse now has art! Check out the art for Accidentally on Purpose here, and for Words for Pictures here. It's beyond win. Post Script: Story Update: 18 March 2014 So. I'm alive. Sort of. Hockey season has ended, and with it, all the drama of coaches, players and parents is behind me. However, the stranglehold winter has over Minnesota has not yet abated, which is fitting for a state where hockey never truly does end. Anyway, I digress, even if there's about a foot of fresh snow falling outside my window as I type this. Over the winter, I discovered Person of Interest. It was, if I'm completely honest, a good thing because I was so angry after Into Here's what you all can look forward to in the (hopefully) not too distant future: 1. Burn the World (Almost Human/Person of Interest AU): All things considered, the Recollectionist did a pretty good job helping Kennex recover his lost memories. Maybe too good. Dangerous people want to make sure John goes to his grave with those secrets. Literally. Stories that might get finished before the end of 1. Officer Involved (Star Trek Cop!Verse AU): Pike thought he was done killing when he traded in his desert BDUs for a civilian police officer’s uniform. He was wrong. Other shit still in a perpetual state of disarray: 1. All Expenses Paid: I have chapters seven, eight, nine and part of ten completed. I'm thinking that, when I'm finally done with this one, it'll be about twelve or thirteen chapters, depending on how long the chapters end up getting. I'm not going to post anything else on this story until I finish it. I'm sorry. I go back and make too many changes when I think of something I like better, and it's too hard to keep straight what I've posted and what I can still change in the continuity vein. I'm putting this one on indefinite hiatus for now, but I swear on Bayverse Starscream's cowardice, I will finish it. Take care! |
