Updated February 28, 2010: Contrary to how it appears, I have not abandoned anything here. My own fics are on hiatus until my dissertation is finished, but I still intend very much on finishing them and posting some new stuff. In the meantime, drabbles are posted to my LJ, and there are also a host of recs there that you should check out if you play in the same sandboxes I do.

My fandoms remain incredibly consistent after so many years. Star Wars (Qui/Obi), Velvet Goldmine (Curt/Arthur), and various Ewan-related properties. Ewan is the alpha and omega of fandom as far as I'm concerned.

Hi there. Not much to report here, except that I love the efficiency and ease of this site and the access it affords to so many different writers and their work. I've come across some genuinely great stuff here, and some truly crappy stuff as well...but hey, we all have to start somewhere, right? I'm a firm believer that the simple act of putting yourself out there through posting a story is a brave thing, even if it is crap. We should all welcome the creative impulse and encourage it lovingly.

Anyway, don't let the preceeding betray the fact that I'm actually a cyncial and embittered old curmudgeon. I am. But my reviews are almost always supportive (again, see above).
