I can see Reid maybe getting annoyed by hearing it referred to as the Sahara Desert (although from your author's note at the end, it seems like you just projected one of your pet peeves onto him), but him dealing with frustration by beating his head on his desk and Morgan doing something purposely just to annoy him both feel too childish and petty for those characters.
