I loved how Qui-Gon calls Obi-Wan his son without *actually* calling him his son :3 The leaf metaphor was excellent too. Jedi ways are complicated, and I often read stories with crappy explanations about the Force and/or totally emotionless Jedi and/or tons and tons of angst and fluff (angst, fluff, mush and hurt/comfort are awesome, as long as they are perfectly dosed ; they actually are like sugar : a little makes desserts - stories here - delicious, too much makes people want to throw up). Anyway. Your fanfiction was perfectly balanced, well written, and in the whole very agreable to read. I was a little wary because of the summary's lack of details, but I ended up very happy of my reading. Thank you for sharing this with us - all the anonymous Star Wars fan who crave for good Qui-Gon&Obi-Wan's relationship stories :)

I can not express how much I love this story. The first time I read it I was completely blown away by it. Your story has heart real intricate conflict psychologically speaking. And it felt so real to me. It was as if I myself had become entrenched in Obiwans confusing bout the Jedi Code and what it truly means. Then how you had Qui Gonn Jinn tesolve it that wad totally a masterpiece. I was in agonizing suspense how he would get the messege across to poor Obiwan (and even me as I starded doubting too yet feeling the woman's reasoning was terribly wrong somewhere) The lightsaber battle was do realistic and intense I still feel and see it in my memory as if I was there. The bond between Qui Gonn and Obiwan is portrayed like I suppose it was really meant tp be. I can only say thank you for such a great piece of art. You have yhe making of greatness in you. Keep it up.

Unbelivable, Just pure...astonishing. Your word, the way you phrase, the vocabularies you administrated, were just so...Jedi like! They actually resembles the way Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon spoke. Or rather, two acquaintance having a polite conversation.
