![]() Author has written 9 stories for Finder Series. YaoiMom Birthday: January 14, 19...wouldn't you like to know. Sign: Proud Capricorn Family Life: Two daughters, age 20 and almost 19. Two spoiled cats, Max and Aki. Our poor Sam passed away, may he run and play forever. A significant other. Favorite Manga: Finder, of course. I hosted my first Finder Yaoi Panel June 2013 at ColossalCon in Sandusky, OH. I was so nervous, but I got good feedback and the audience seemed to enjoy it and have fun and in the process I got to introduce some newbies to Finder. I'm hoping to do another at this year's ColossalCon. My 19 year old daughter introduced me to yaoi 6 years ago and I have been a beloved fan ever since. I DO believe in supporting the mangaka, as my collection proves, but I am always craving more. Favorite Game(s): Final Fantasy VII, Midnight Club: Dub Edition, any in the Need for Speed series Yes, I'm also GamerMom, although I rarely finish a game. But my PSP goes everywhere I go. I am constantly doing battle with my DVR, so I am way behind on my Anime watching and Manga reading. Hooray for JustDubs and MangaGo! Hope you enjoy my story, The King's Photographer. TTFN (ta ta for now) So how about an update, hmmm? Hi, everyone! So, all is well in my little world. Both my little ones are now in college, classes picked, move-in days set, monies (loans) arranged. I tell you, the day after I drop the last one off, I'm gonna run from my basement to the second floor naked, just because I can, yeah! To all you parents out there just starting out, if you think college is a choice you want your child to make, be prepared, it's expensive. I wasn't and since I didn't do my part as they were growing up, I am borrowing the majority of the money to get them through this. But they worked hard, despite everything children and teenagers have to go through just to survive day to day in some of these schools. Point is--SAVE UP if you can, but don't let them not have the opportunity to continue their education because there is not money. There is always money and people, companies, and corporations willing to give it for free. We as parents should want to see our children have what we couldn't have and do what we couldn't do. Reysseecup and Reshinator, I wish you the best of luck, the best of friends, the best of times, and the best success in whatever you strive to accomplish and even if you don't see this, everyone that does will know how proud I am of you both and how much I love you!! I've added 2 more stories--One Night Stand (a multi-chapter) and Tainted Love (a one-shot). All the warmth I feel from the reviews and PM's keeps me writing. (I also write to maintain my sanity!!) I am working in a slightly darker story and I hope once it's published it goes over as well as the others have. So, so long again for now! On the record: For those who read this, please note Kickstarter is running a campaign over the next couple of weeks to get funds to restock the Finder Series with DMP. As of Feb 1st, 2015 there are 14 days left to reach their goal of $45000.00, for the restock. If you can, go to Kickstarter, find the project and fund it with whatever you can. Finder Vol 7 is number 1 on the New York Times Manga Bestseller List! The fans have spoken! If you haven't already, go out and get your copy today. It is official, my license plate says 'YAOIMOM' I have once again submitted my panel entry for a Finder Fan panel at ColossalCon 2015. The first time I hosted it, me and my bestie had a blast. Here's hoping we can introduce some yaoi newbs to the wonderful world of Finder! Bye now! What's new: Vote for my fanfic End of the Road on /fandom3, please. It's been awhile... Apologies for the very long hiatus. Writers' block is the worst. Life continues on, though. I'm working on editing King's Photographer to put on another sight (hoping to get my inspiration back). There have been a few kinda big changes in my life, some great, some not so much, but I'm hanging in. I was able to host a boys' love panel for teens at ColossalCon 2017 and I'm hoping to do it again this year--fingers crossed. Winning the 2017 Finder Winter Wonderland made me feel really special. I never dreamed something I wrote would get first place in anything, so I felt like a real star. Thank you for nominating my story and Thank you for voting it #1!! That was truly AMAZING! I promise you all, it isn't over. I want to write more. I want to engage more imaginations. Hope to see you sooner rather than later, I appreciate you all! |
