I, personally, am of the opinion that there are certain things that are good to know about an author. Age, sex/gender, level of education, and position in life, to name a few. So, my personal info: 30 years old, female, university graduate, and American (but please don't hold it against me.) At this point, I'm a writer the way that some waitresses are really actresses.

Ereshkigal was the Sumerian goddess of the underworld. She was respected and feared by the other gods, that's how bum-kickin' she was. She was also the goddess of last resorts.

A lot of the X-Men:Evolution fics were co-written with Panther Nesmith while we were in high school. They reflect that. Also, I'm working on some Sherwood Smith fic's with Felsong, titled Pirate Princess (finished) and Gypsie Queen (on extended hiatus). It's under her pen name, so go there to read it. It's very good, if you ask me. We're working on turning it into an original, and maybe someday sending it to be published.

CaptainSwan - Captain Hook aka Killian Jones and Emma Swan of Once Upon A Time. I love Hook and Emma. They balance each other beautifully, and they are both so devoted to one another.

Ichabbie - Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills of Sleepy Hollow. Their partnership transcends all of the superficial things that could get in their way, and together they are stronger and better than they could be alone. I love watching these two!

Trech - Trent Kalamack and Rachel Morgan of Kim Harrison's "The Hollows" series. I've shipped them since book 2. He has made her see the shades of gray that exist between Right and Wrong, and she has given him the courage to live his life the way he feels is right instead of the way that is expected of him.

Dasey - Derek Venturi and Casey McDonald of Life With Derek. Because you don't even need subtext with these two. It's all right there!

Romy - Rogue and Remy "Gambit" LeBeau of the X-Men/Marvel universe. Just because, really.

SS/HG - Severus Snape and Hermione Granger of the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. The idea of them squicked me out at first, but then I actually read some of fics with this pairing...and I've been converted. They really do make a lot of sense as a couple. They're both smart, sarcastic, serious, and tend to be overlooked by people.

Rayne - River Tam and Jayne Cobb of Firefly. This was a pairing that, again, the first time I saw it, I balked. But again, they make a lot of sense together. He's simple and direct, and he's not afraid of her once he knows what she's capable of. And River need someone who won't unnecessarily complicate matters and who will take her as the dangerous weapon that she is.
