You truly have a fantastic talent with words and it was a true pleasure to read this! :) I love how well Jayne knows River, especially in the scene when she tries to force herself to see the future. And Mal is hilarious, considering he has three women on board the ship and can't tolerate tears...he might want to get accustomed to them. I absolutely adored the ending - so glad they got a happy ending. :)

Mal and Inara really, really need to talk to each other. And no...I really hope that the vision of Jayne River saw isn't actually going to happen - if three weeks of River thinking this ends up with her looking so haggard, Jayne's death would destroy her...

Ah, you've done such a fantastic job with Zoe and Wash's memory - I was crying as I read through their conversation and your writing evoked a profound sense of loss. I really hurt for Zoe but I feel like she's slowly beginning to heal a little bit. Jayne is so afraid of hurting River that I think he's forgetting that River is a lot stronger than she looks. And I'm glad he and Simon talked about River - Simon's letting her make her own decisions, which is a good thing. :)

They kissed! :) And I laughed when Jayne stole River's hair clip...that was funny. I'm glad they're making progress in their relationship. :) Amazing job with the chapter!

Ah, loved this chapter! Jayne's really trying to distance himself from River but I don't think it's working. I loved the conversation between Zoe and River - I actually ended up crying through the end of it when Zoe remembered Wash...amazing work! I really enjoyed it! :)

Yay, they're making progress - I'm pretty sure Jayne is going to fall in love with River first but River won't wait too long afterwards. Looking forward to reading the next chapter! :)

Oh dear. How long was Mal standing there? And I'm guessing that a) he's realized that Jayne and River are attracted to each other and/or b) the real reason behind the new sleeping arrangements? I'm wondering how he's going to react...

I think River is unconsciously falling in love with Jayne, and I'm glad Jayne is helping her through her visions and her ability to read other people's thoughts...she shouldn't have to bear the brunt of them alone.

Jayne understands River in a way that no one else can, not even Simon. And I'm glad River finally talked to Zoe, and they both were able to heal a little bit. Amazing chapter! :)
