Unlikely Alliance update (January 2016):

This story is not abandoned, but I am neglecting it right now. There is a near-zero chance that this will be updated before June 2016. (That doesn't mean I will update it in June, either. It means that it is possible that I will get back to it then.) The remainder of the story is outlined, and several thousand words of it are written. I don't want to update just to go on another absurdly long hiatus, though, so I won't be updating it until the rest of it is drafted.

I do appreciate the reviews, follows, and favorites. I'm committed to finishing this story, and every time I receive one of those I'm reminded why. Thank you!.
