I fucking love this. It's so well written, the use of words and phrases are perfect and I feel you captured and stayed true to the characters. Writing it Robin's perspective was brilliant and I loved it.

Amazing! One of the best fics I have ever read

I'm so glad this caught my eye during rec/review week because holy wow, I was not disappointed. I love that the entire reason he ends up in arm's reach of a siren is more than a plot contrivance. All of the little details in the foraging do so much to develop his character and play into his strengths, and I love the smug little satisfaction he gets at being the only one to be successful at it.

My heart stuttered at "And then he is drowning," because I could feel the abrupt, jarring snap back to reality for him in that, and the sense of foreboding and helplessness that went along with that.

I know that the Charmings told Regina about the siren, but I actually kind of found myself wondering if she's already known or at least suspected - if she'd known the general area where her quarry was to be found, and the dangers that might lie there. In the same way the siren sort of opens Robin's eyes up to the way he actually feels about Regina, I almost wonder if Regina's little request was almost a subconscious push in the same direction for herself. Like, even if that's not the case, I love that the way it was constructed made me wonder about it.

And honestly, I wish - I WISH I had more to say about the smut in the second installment here, because it was so visceral and guttural and had me so *_* the whole time. Like holy fuck.

I also may have buried my face in my hands and made an undignified squeaking noise at "You never insult me." Because I am shipper trash.

Your use of words fit all the characters perfectly, and it made this short one of the most interesting ones to read! I almost wish it'd been longer and drawn out because I'm sure you'd have a great way of building sexual/romantic tension. I also appreciated that the story came from robins POV because you captured Regina's very being through his eyes and it was lovely! I'm not a big review giver, but you my dear deserved it. Thank you for this!
