To be fair, I do like EvilCharming as in fanfictions (but not in the show). So yep, I can honestly say that I loved this very much. While it's probably more a RegalBelliever piece, it's still... yep. You did very well. Liked the idea, liked how your story went and.. yep, yep... well done dear :)
Somehow I would like many more pieces which have 'Henry finds something like a journal by Regina' as plot. I know there are an handful of these. Who knows, maybe you'll write another one some day. Since I like your stuff...well, I'd bet I'd love that one too xD

David and Henry’s whole conversation was great. As usual, you hit both characters on the head (not literally), with David’s… earnestness (LOL) and Doing The Right Thing, and Henry’s curiosity and wry humour (THAT sounds depressing) and neatly straddling the maturity of knowing better and the temptation of wanting to do the opposite anyway.
"Emma says you're flirting with Marie but that you're not any good at it."
"Go talk to your mother.”
Now THAT sums up their relationship. LOL.
"I know you can impersonate one. I gave you lessons.” This line greatly amused me, not least because it was just DRIPPING with your voice! It was like Regina doing Addicted1. This is a good thing, trust me XD Also because this is something we were sadly deprived of in the show that I think could have been a goldmine of brilliant material: Regina and Henry with a healed relationship, just navigating Henry being a teenager. It’s such a short blip in the scene, but I just love the way they’re interacting when they first enter the shelter. It rings so true, plus, it’s funny!
David and Regina’s interaction then is equally funny. Trust David to take the first opportunity for a dig at her homicidal past, and trust Regina (oh, I’ve missed your Magic Theory Regina!) to immediately skewer him on his own barb while also absolving herself of any wrongdoing. It’s a mighty talent she wields!
"Why didn't everyone in town trip over themselves to be kind to this woman?"
Naww. And now David’s less-than-stellar flirting is directed at Regina. And she loooooves it!
Innuendo over baked goods. Subtle, competitive, confident. Vintage Regina.
Generous of her to give the credit for that flirting to David. Pretty sure he just stood there making heart eyes while she did all the heavy lifting ;)
This was a fun, light, cute and funny read! Love the way you managed to completely sidestep what I'm sure the prompt intended, and come with entertaining fluff instead! It was so great to hear your writer voice again!

Nailed it! I love this section. And then the section where Regina takes Henry's phone away from him until he "impersonates" a proper human. HAHAHAHAHA!

Another favorite line: '"Not one homicide," David deadpanned.' Their conversations are THE BEST in this! Discussing Henry's afforded defensive rights in regards to committing homicide...pure Regina.
