Hello, and welcome! I’m Schrodinger’s Kat –

Kat in name, and a cat in fact.

I’m a wise feline, and I’ve been taught much

About our world, and time, and life, and such.

I know where at night the sun will go

And why the rocks grow so slow;

I know where water runs so deep

And what dreams mean when you’re asleep.

I know why electrons always fight

And that I never outrun the light.

Yes, I am a clever old cat;

It is not to be wondered at.

However, one thing I’ve never been taught

Is whether I exist, or not.

It’s a puzzle. What’s it mean?

Am I now, will I be, or have I never been?

But there’s something else that was told to me:

That a certain pair should never be.

What duo spells death? Well, that

Is curiosity, and a cat.

Which is truth, and which are lies?

I guess I must just improvise.
