Update 12-30-09:

Well, it's been another crazy year. My apologies to anyone who's been waiting on pins and needles for For the Love of Snape, I know it's been quite some time since I've updated that. I feel as though it's become a bit of a prodigal story, the one that I always intend on finishing but never really get around to it. Anyway, it's taken me six years, but I've finally found a way to get Harry to Hogwarts that's a little less...rash...than before. Upon rereading the original, I completely understand now why my mental state was questioned by a reviewer. That will be fixed in the final version. At this point, I've had the first chapter rewritten for literally years, and really just need to tweak the others a bit, and then finish the story. I'm not sure how long I want to make this, or if I want to make it into a series of shorter stories, in which this one would basically serve to introduce us to some major characters for the rest of the story arc, such as Elizabeth and Jory. I'll have to sit down with it in a few days' time and work all that out.
