Too much internal and external monologing during life and death combat, you CAN put the character development in a section that doesn't involve fast paced combat, that would make a bit more sense.

This deserves more attention, it's hard to find decent Valerie revelation fics. This was well done and I'm excited to start reading the sequel. I haven't checked through your works yet and I can only hope it has actually been made. (And completee considering the year this awesome Fanfiction was made)

"He could very well be the cute guy next door." That line just killed me! I love it. I don't know if TUE aired when this chapter was posted, but in it, Valerie admitted that she thought Phantom was cute. It makes sense, considering the small differences in appearance.
